Similar to Charlie Brown getting a rock, eh?  But in your case, you got - well, I see that you already named what you got!

Wouldn't it be something if you got your own sketch card back?  (I wonder if that has ever happened before?)  And, if so, would you like it better because it is in color?

I'm not really into sketches, thus I don't know if this has ever been broached before, but why not limit the sketches to the artists that have been directly involved with Wackys (past and present,) instead of throwing them out there to dozens of artists that have no affiliation with Wackys whatsoever?  I really don't get it.  How does this make them Wackys?

Most of the guys doing final paintings are too busy doing the paintings to do sketchcards. These are fine for a sketch collector I guess. I don't collect sketches so was hoping for a good color one to offset the cost of the set, but I should be able to get 10 bucks each out of these.

I like the Funny Taste one!  Perhaps because that's one of my favorite items (Funny Face kool-aid, that is).  I got just three black and white sketches, only one of which I thought was anything remotely special  :'(

that would have been a dream set, this was more of a 'highlights'.
Although actually, most of the others are top notch as well. I think I got pretty lucky.

Some really nice artists in your set! Although I still prefer the sketches to be of new titles in the series.

Is "Totarilla" instead of "Totarillo" intentional?

Don't know. Maybe Neil was eating Tex-Mex that day, and was thinking about a nice, rolled flour tortilla??

I went a little nuts this time, being Wacky deprived after passing on the 50th set and the MLB set last year.  But, I am very pleased with the sketches I pulled.  Here they are.

Thanks to all the artists who contributed to this great Wacky set!  Now, does anyone know how to make an Ugh! cardboard puzzle with checklists on the back???

Holy motherload!

Sweet!

I really did luck out on the sketches, especially with the Yichs.  No complaints there!!  But, out of 9 sets, I didn't get even one complete back variation set.  And, I had two pencil groups that weren't quite the "B" list.  It's great that we can all help each other out here, and not have to pay $6 per card/sticker on evilbay!

What I have fills up the pages quite nicely.

I agree, the Kook sketch is really nice.  And, it's a tobacco title that can't be done in the mass-market series sketches.  I got 5 smokes and 1 alcohol - not a bad haul!
