Great work everyone! Of my 9 pieces, this is the only package gag I have in the set.

As a certified Star Trek nut, I approve of this Wacky.  :P

Does it make sense that these also need to be added to my bonus/promo card list?
Meant to say 'chase card' subsets. These don't have "B" names, so I'd say they don't belong on the bonus/promo list.
Although it is a fine line between chase card sets exclusive to specific boxes vs the older ANS bonus cards that were exclusive to specific packs.

Some folks don't like Wacky movie stickers, but I'm a fan.

Plus, all the cards I've seen so far are great. I'm excited for this set!  :great:

To the artists, I think it really comes through that you guys had fun with these. I really like the gags and most of the artwork is exceptional (cough, except for a certain set of flat, 2-D looking pieces, cough). Nicely done everyone!

Looks like the base set is all black cards which I think looks great. The thin black borders just don't work as you lose the 3D look to the packaging. Will take all black any time over that. It's totally new for WP but I'm good with it.

yep. it all seems to be looking exactly the same as the 50th, with regards to full-bleed borders and the base and parallel colors.

wish they would have changed the yellow and bronze in the Collector boxes, don't think those borders work at all.

These all look great, although who did Propeye, Hotel Pennsylvania 3, Bar-b-q and Yucker's marmalade?

Bar-b-q is probably a satire of the Barbie movie.

Has anyone found the Value Packs anywhere?

I have been finding the same combination at the Targets that have them in stock (some don't have them out yet) -
Each one has a Display Box and 4 Bonus Boxes.

No value packs or gravity feeds out yet in my area.

I seem to always get stocked late around here, but it seems like the value packs have always taken another week or two after the display/bonus/gravity feeds show up.

surprised there's no gravity feed. usually it's GF's and bonus boxes. Rarely see plain display boxes any more.

Does anyone know if these were unused from previous series? I don;t get the movie connection. These and the Frosty the Snowman one either (also by Jungwha).

BTW, they totally screwed up my Freddy Grahams card. I sent them in a scan without the top left corner finished up. Immediately sent them the correct one and told them to discard the first scan and...they used the first scan. Ugh. So the top left corner gag is left unfinished.

Damn it!

Give 'em hell!

Nice artwork, gags, etc. on this title, but letting this mistake slip past is inexcusable.  I wonder if all of the cards are like this or just some?

On another note, I could be mistaken, but shouldn't the word "tissue" in Monions" be plural?

I say we nominate Mikecho to serve as editor.  All titles could then pass across his desk before final release.

This is why I love when David shows us his original art scans. So many details are lost on press, aside from Topps error here. The traditional black border looks soooooooo much nicer. I think the all black background actually creates more problems for the pre-press department, where they have to make adjustments to the other process inks to compensate. The brown border on Freddy Grahams has a nice crisp dark chocolate color on the original art, but on the final printed sticker, it appears more of a muted milk chocolate color. Thank you David for sharing your art and concept sketches with us!

Anyone know why there are no Star Wars parodies in this set? Maybe the Star Wars Wacky Packages is still happening after some retooling?

Hey Baked Bears! If it should be box of tissues, that would be my error, but I did search just that as I wrote the gag and seemed to find more references to "box of tissue" so I went with that.

Thanks! Agree on the borders and man, they really can't let stuff like this happen.

We can't do any Disney products so that includes Marvel as well.

Just curious... do you know when the Disney C&D was implemented? I remember some sketch cards portraying the AJERX character as various Marvel heroes for one of the ANS sets, I believe. I will have to check at home tonight. Either they were issued before the C&D or they snuck in under the radar.  They may have even been issued prior to the Disney acquisition of Marvel.
