In case anyone's interested, a sale on my TeePublic store is happening January 24 - January 28.

Mark,

You're going about this all wrong.  You should add an air of mystery to them -- maybe call them "Lost Artist Wackys", print them on gold backing and limit it to just 5, and then put them on eBay at outrageous prices.  Apparently P.T. Barnum's "there's a sucker born every minute" saying will provide you with lots of sales.

Parody of Jets Cereal.

And, R.I.P. bat wing colors. (Thank you scanner.) Is there any fix to that?

I notice that you have taken a bit of a break, as well.  Surely you must have a few more parodies hidden away in notebooks and decomposition books!

My excuse is lots of school projects and state standardized tests. I guess you could say the same as well...  :D

I have several cereal parodies written, and am quite proud of a few of them. I will just have to sit down to actually make them happen. Honestly, I will hopefully do just that this summer. Or, next weekend...

Dude, don't even talk to me about state standardized tests!  Ugh!

Thank goodness for summer!

Tragic Puffs (Magic Puffs)

I wish my scanner would pick up the lighter colors better, but the first image is the original scan. The second is an edited version that I put a bad black border around. The last is the rough.

Thanks. I preferred that sizing as well because it fits more of the OS feel. It is actually at the perfect size to print out and cut to 2.5" by 3.5".

I have decided to dabble in Microsoft Paint to see if I could make parodies on there.
My latest parody, Croca-Cola, was made on there also.

So, while this is sloppy and could be added on to, this is my latest parody.

Parody of The Balvenie.

Interesting approach using Microsoft Paint.  I'd like to try it myself someday.  And very cool parody.

DISCOVERY SHOP: https://www.threadless.com/discover/s/cavichparodies

ARTIST SHOP: https://cavichparodies.threadless.com/

Hello everyone,

A new piece is up on the shop. I have revamped the "Moosey Fruit" parody, and it exists on my shop now.
A PEZ parody is also up, but didn't turn out the way I wanted. I will likely take it down.

Shirts are still $11.99 on my Discovery Shop.

Thank you,

No, I just go with my parents to the state store and know plenty of brands. Good parody material.

Not a parody of mine, but a sketch that I drew today fairly quickly.

Been a while, eh?

I'm running a small discount. Feel free to check it out, nothing too crazy yet. Might give a real nice coupon code at some point, if anyone's interested - that is.

I made the eyes bloodshot, but evidently too lightly. I will have to make them more profound.

Thanks for showing the interest. I likely won't do this unless more people are interested, though. This is because I would have to order these cards to be printed. Unfortunately, I can't print them at home which would - A: Make it cheaper for you and me, B: Expedite the process. Either way, I don't have too many titles as of now. I would likely, if I did release a set, probably release it at about ten titles. I am only half way there. I'd like to keep every title at the highest quality possible, and memorable. I don't feel the need to over saturate it with thirty titles.

Keep going! You're doing great!

Thank you, sir!

I have released a "Series 1" on my Threadless store. Check the collections and go to "Series 1" to see what the nine card set would be if I released it.

Why nine titles? That number fits in a typical Ultra Pro sheet, and eighteen titles is unrealistic for me.

I am also running a ~15% off sale on the shop in honor of Independence Day soon. Check it out, if you'd like.

Here's a link to the Threadless site:

Enjoy, if you can.
