Ok, let's step back a second... All I'm requesting, is that in Bandaches list he could put the Wacky Artists in a separate section and label it "Wacky Artists". Make sense? :)
I am leaving it up to each person to volunteer that they want to be listed at all.  In addition, I will leave it up to each artist if they want to be called out as such on the list.

We prefer to keep the artist's identities a secret. It's for national security purposes. Just be assured in the knowledge they are working hard to keep our country safe for the parody of packaged products.

Hey gang,

This forum has really begun to take off.  I thought it might be a good idea to make a list of Forum Ids and names(first and/or last name whatever people are comfortable) so newbies can know who is who and for us old timers to re-catch up on this.  I will reupdate this first post with a running list as people respond.

Not everyone seems to have put any info in the profiles and I don't know if that is because they don't know how, just never got around to it.

Everyone up for this?

I presume they believe you did this to be at the top of the heap Ernie.
Do you have a grudge against Zenergizer and enjoy seeing him at the bottom of the pile?
{Are you sore because Paul (also) beat you in the football pool?}

No, hold on, I see alanms, All-Brain, Arcadedl, AwfulBits, Babyruthless and badhaircut could potentially knock you off. Of course someone could blow the whole lot of ya away by adopting Achoo! (it would be nice if Greg would lighten up and do something like that, hun Blandaches? Maybe someday...) Achoo is a great title for an avatar someone needs to snap up. Hey, I see someone signed up as cult45 about a week ago. I wonder if that member knows it comes with a bit of baggage.

I like this list. In addition to being very handy, it provides a different sense of community, to see everyone’s name like that (sappy me). I forget people’s names here and mix people up (you know who you are - sorry bout that). I normally have a hard time with names, so this whole avatar thingy really throws my Simpleton mind for a loop. Seems simple enough, but considering I sometimes struggle to remember coworker’s names such as Ted and Joe, remembering 2 names per person is a doozey.

I was thinking the same thing. And for some reason I started hearing that Yes! song in my head (actually the Buggles version): I Am a Camera -- great song!

and now I'm hearing that song (aka: Into The Lens on the Yes album) as well as "I am a Camera" from Gentle Giant's Civilian album released the same year (1980) as Yes' Drama album.

No relation to Neil...we've already tried to find a connection since it's not a very common name...at least in the USA, but there are towns in Southern Italy where it's as common as Smith or Jones.

It's pronounced CA-MARE-UH, but I've been getting the common Kodak/Poloroid pronunciation ever since the first teacher read my name off the rooster in kindergarten. Usually I don't even bother to correct people anymore.

Interesting.

I had originally thought Neil's last name was a "pen name".

Sorry about the yet-another-film-type-camera-inadvertent-association!

<off_topic>
(And I completely forgot the Yes! version of the song was Into the Lens. I still prefer the Buggles version I Am a Camera. Read this somewhere: Just a note, this song was originally written as a demo for what would become Adventures in Modern Recording. After they joined Yes, and with input from the other members of Yes, it became what is "Into the Lens" on the Drama album. When they resumed working on the second Buggles disc, they reworked it into "I Am a Camera.")

A lot of people tend to add an "N" at the end, and pronounce it, "Cameran". I still can't figure that one out!

I’m speculating some folks have a bizarre subconscious desire to turn your last name into a double hulled sail boat.

Cool.  Let me know if you need any, I have a lot of borderless Wackys. Heck, I even have some that have the border on them.  You can just go ahead and peel that pesky border right off of them if you like!

I think the list is helpful so folks can address one another by their first names (if they desire).  I often try to do that.  Since we have no where in our profiles to indicate a first name (or full name) this is a good alternative.  Now, if Brad could add a field to profiles to allow for a first name to be entered and IF people went back and added them, this list wouldn't be needed.
