Wacky Packages '91 Series Box
« on: March 16, 2017, 12:02:10 PM »
Hello!

I’m looking for a full box of '91 Wacky Packages, sealed if possible. Either Topps or O-Pee-Chee is fine.

I'm in Canada btw, I can provide my address for a shipping quote.

Thank you!

These are pretty common, did you check ebay?

I checked eBay Canada, and the only "Buy it now" auction would be around 125$, which is a bit steep (IMO) for this particular series. Another auction pops up every 6 days (from make_mine_marvel_1973), but I haven't been able to win one yet.

I think I have a box, but can't check until the weekend.

You haven't been able to win marvel's auctions?  There is no way there is high demand for these so it seems weird if you are constantly outbid.

Exactly what I thought - 1991 isn't anyone's favorite series but still - consistently lost every auctions :

Sealed OPC Box:
Ended on Feb. 27th for 36$ US
Ended on March 7th for 15.50$ US
Ended on March 14th for 38$ US

Opened Topps Box with all unopened packs:
Ended on March 6th for 26$ US

I lost to last-second bids every time, often to the same bidder who seem to be after every box. The seller (make_mine_marvel) relists another sealed box everytime.

Thanks for the link! I've requested a shipping quote, this seems like the way to go if the shipping is reasonable.

I think I have a box, but can't check until the weekend.

Might not be necessary if Drono's suggestion comes through, but still - thank you!

Is that winning bidder bidding on any other wacky package items?  Why would Matt just sell all his huge surplus of 1991 stuff privately  to this consistant winner?

The bidder seems to be bidding on a lot of Wacky stuff - not just from Matt, so I don't think it's anything shady.
