Two things concerning what Baked Bears said above:

1. Creeps which was a regular WP did not sell nearly as well as the political ones. So if you want to see good old fashioned WPs online everyone needs to have these outsell the political ones so Topps gets the point.

2. Time is crucial. Staying up all night through to make these in one day is not healthy and definitely affects the work. I'm never going to turn in something I'm unhappy with so I stay up the entire night through to get many of these done and I'm not going to cut and paste or Photoshop figures. So...yeah, please to more time on each piece. I used to work on a piece 2-4 days. The new Old School I was able to do that again and it will show when they come out.

3. Absolutely I'll take old style product parodies any day, any time over the political stuff.

If it is anything like the 50th Old School, I'm confidant OS6 is going to be the high point of the year!  Can't wait!

Added note:  The time and care you put into your work is more than evident to everyone here.  I'm certain of that.  It shows.  It cannot help but to show.  Moreover, it often shines.  I cannot even begin to name the many ANS and OS titles that I and my many, many students over the years hold in very high regard.  I mean, we're talking tippy-top of the mountain, that kind of high.

It is also obvious that your creations are your metaphorical "children" - and you treat them as such, giving them whatever is necessary to blossom into their very best.  You do and sacrifice whatever it takes - as with many of the WP artists - to achieve that goal.  I would also imagine, however, that, after laboring so hard and committing one's self to a vision, it must be frustrating at times to be hamstrung by inane corporate policy or have one's work displayed side-by-side with the substandard work of others intent on taking shortcuts along the road to glory.

Personally, though, I'm glad you've taken the high road.

Mamma Mia Artichoke Hearts

This, exactly.
We need the real Wacky's to out sell the political.
Creeps was bizarrely the lowest selling Wacky in all of February, which is just shocking. And it was easily outsold by the other Valentine wacky that day that had inferior art, but it did have 'Trump' on it.
The Club is only making a difference of 10 card in sales, but every little bit can help.

Yes, but why?  There must be a reason.

Could one possible explanation be that people are, indeed, responding to - and even embracing - the "Trump" political sets?  And the "oddball" nonpolitical "Creeps" (233 sold) just didn't fit in?  But that doesn't explain why "My Way" (246 sold) brought in only 13 more sales.  After all, "My Way" was political.  And then we have "Bootman" (285 sold) which wasn't political, yet sold well anyway.  "Peeps" and "Milky Way" are not exactly headliner news.  "Batman" and "Legos," though, were very current at the time.

Thus, I'm wondering (yet struggling against admitting it) if we, here on the forum, are in the minority?  Could it be that classic Wackys,  as we know and love them, are a thing of the past?  Have they once again run their course?  Is society now mainly embracing whatever the television/internet flashes at them on any particular minute of any given day and everything else is, well, passe?  It wouldn't surprise me.  And, if this is indeed the case, I've a feeling we're probably going to see a lot more of the same from Topps.  Keep it current!  Keep it current!  Keep it current!  Unfortunately, and in the long run, though, I've a feeling what this means to us older farts is that we're screwed.

I would have bought extras of Creeps, but not at $10 a card.

Hang on to your ANS stuff, and wait for the kids who collected them to start turning 35.

I remember Ernie asking years ago (referring to older collectors at the shows), "Is that going to be me when I'm 60, still chasing down Wackys?"  We're all getting closer.
