Did anyone grab the Bigly Chew image, I don't see it on site anymore?
It will get reposted on their site soon once they have the print total compiled

"K K K" - whoa.. ouch!

I can see why they moved you off of that one.  But I can appreciate the cut of it.

got my Pumpkin Mix in the mail.
Unique back image compared to the political ones.
Says 'Peel Here' in the upper left and it does look like the card is a clear plastic sticker on a paper backing.
I haven't tried peeling it apart to find out though.

now re-posted, and showing 407 printed. Still about 100 more than the GPKs.

I think that is about to change though with today's offerings, as today is the first time the multi-card bundle will cost significantly more than buying just the GPKs individually. And I believe the majority of the Wacky print runs so far have been supported by these GPK bundle buyers.
We shall see tomorrow.

Dave,

another good one.
and you've made me a convert!
I was initially very skeptical of these cards, but I think you've put together a great string of quite inventive and very clever gags so far, that have all been well executed.
I didn't think the political leanings and phony products would work, but I see now that it's likely giving you a much greater freedom to create perfectly targeted skewers towards specific headline events of this often absurd political season.
And the pointed jabs of many of the gags do remind me of the stronger wackys of old, versus the more silly nature of the gags in most of the newer sets.
Keep it up!

Interesting. So you seem to be asserting that the GPK buyers will leave the Wacky and just buy the two GPK's for $9.99 each. I doubt that will happen. The Wackies are numbered as part of the GPK set.  I doubt one GPK collector will pass on the bundle and just buy the two GPK cards. The number makes them ALL GPK cards; even with a Wacky Pack Logo.

numbers released:  441 for the Trump Tour ticket - and well over 100 more sold than the GPKs.

so much for my theory of a small drop in totals due to the bundle pricing hurting the GPK-only collectors who might not want a wacky. (I know if the situation was reversed, I'd be skipping the GPK's)

I think today's Devil Trump GPK will give the Honeycomb-over a challenge for highest print number tomorrow, though.

Thanks! These are actually lots of fun to do. Gonna try to do some from the other point of view as well even though it's not my point of view. When I can I will try to do real products but I think they work fine either way.

Just curious, where are the Hillary ones?  ;)

And so glad you and everyone is enjoying the holiday treat, it was so much fun

I think the GPK collectors are kind of stuck buying the Wackys that are numbered as a part of the Disgrace set, even if they don't care for them.

I agree with Patrick. The gag writing has been stellar. That ticket gag was particularly inspired. "Admit nothing!"

I think a lot of folks did, as it had a high sell rate compared to the GPKs.

Honeycomb is back to the more typical 405 and 100+ over GPK.

and then there's yesterdays TIME with the devil Trump. It had bigly numbers. Huge numbers. The best numbers. 758.

Is someone buying up every one of these right after they go on sale?  Seems like they are bought up well before the 24 hour period ends now....

not sure what you mean by that. It's Print on Demand. there's no production limit.

Sold Out are probably not the right words, but that's what topps is using. The 24 hour sale window was reached, so no more orders can be placed. but during those 24 hours, the skies the limit on production numbers.

I checked the site this morning and the latest Trump Wacky was not there, and when I checked a little while ago, it was there but sold out.  That's less than 24 hours.

I saw it listed on the site until 2:30 ET today, which was the 24 hour window.
I checked it a number of times this morning, as their countdown clock was wonky and I was waiting to see if they'd ever fix it. Which they finally did around noon.

2:30 pm today could not have been the end of the 24 hour window, since the item was not listed yesterday after 2:30 pm nor this morning around 8:00 am.

I posted a direct link to the honeycomb listing on the topps site up above in post 114 shortly after it went live on Thursday.  That was at 2:48 pm ET.
Not sure why you were never able to see the listing during its window.

I did not buy this one as it is not technically a "Wacky". It does look like a parody card to me. Can those here who have not purchased any of the non-"wacky" cards in this set please comment if they went for it?

I HOPE! They release a MASTER Set.... be smart Topps - Take care of the LOYAL ONES!!!!

I think if they were to release a master set after the fact, there would be some justifiable objections from the people who have been buying them all along with the understanding that they were limited releases.  And, who knows if or when they'll end the numbered set - they could keep that going for ages!
