Another great one, IMO. The real product, in comparison, before it was Nestle. My only gripe on this one is since the product is a finger, wouldn't the tag line "broken handy" be better than "broken candy".

Gotta love that finger!  Great overall gag.  I never thought about the possibility of "broken handy" but I suppose it could work.  Maybe "broken handy candy"?

Is this the right packaging design?

I think Spit and Spill is a decent gag.  I really like the way they replaced the mop with the spit and the house!

What can you say about this iconic Wacky that already hasn't been said? Perhaps the world's first duck face selfie pic. I am sure there is a better match available (as well as a better quality) out there somewhere, but I couldn't find it in short order.

Yes, that was really clever. I also like how this "gross out" gag is way more funny than gross.

I never did get the main gag of "Snatch a Pak" but I always liked this one anyway because of Apple Jerks.

Just adding the Wacky Sticker for comparison. This topic will actually be a pretty nice history for showing WPs versus real products:

Agreed... the "Snatch a Pak" isn't much of a parody. I guess the beauty lies in the individual cereal names.

Not a bad gag I suppose, and they certainly had very dull looking packaging to work with.  I've always liked that the cap is off, as it allows nice detail and the stink cloud.

Dr. Ono

so many great Wackys in Series 3. The first full set of the 70's.

one of my all time favorites for sure.

as someone else pointed out long ago, it looks like the good Dr. is holding a syringe possibly, and that it got painted over by the skull and crossbones. Keeping 'dangerous' artwork out of the reach of children?

If you look at the Master Spreadsheet and at lostwackys.com(click on the '73-'77 Original Series section and then on Snatch-A-Pak in the 3rd Series section) you'll see that this Wacky was originally going to be called Snack Pig (there's a picture of the rough art for it on there).

Drano to Dr. Ono. Maybe the most successful big stretch of any gag! And as a kid, you couldn't not like Brain Opener. The art, the taglines, everything is A+.

I always thought the actual product marketing to be strange... to go with the spelling they chose and then to use the diacritical mark (long vowel symbol) so we know how to pronounce it. Why not just go with "Draino" or am I missing something?

IIRC, the original name for this one was going to be Braino, which was finally used on the ANS6 sticker (only this time it was a different product, Drano Clog Remover (spoofed as Braino Clod Remover).
