so I'm seeing 'box toppers' on eBay.
I usually think of box toppers as a loose card or item thrown into the box, like the envelopes in the Old School boxes.
But these look to be the same CE box pack risers that were used for the Billboards in the recent Wacky releases, and not actually cards?

I wonder what size these are. They look very similar to the 5x7 cards Topps is selling but with a non-gold lace design.

It's pretty cool they are doing 1 of 1 posters. Those will make some people pretty happy.

I don't think that Topps has gotten the response they expected.  I only see 18 of the 1/1 posters that are sold out and nothing of the # to 49 or # to 99 sets.  It seems like these would've gone faster if just the demand from the Wacky Package collectors was high, not to mention the plethora of baseball card collectors out there.

We should do up a registry of the 1/1 as it would be cool to know where they end up.  Did anyone on the forum snag 'em?

Sometimes I hate being on the west coast - my shipment isn't set to arrive until late next week and I pre-ordered these!

Alex, agreed.  I never see new Wackys the week they come out in Los Angeles.  It's at least a week before they show up at Tatget or Walmart.

I just saw that a few Silver parallels have been listed on eBay.  Anyone know which packs these are coming from?  I'm looking for a 58 if anyone has any for trade/sale.

Saw Long Bonus packs at Walmart today. These are like the ones we saw in Toys R us in the past. Two groups of 11 cards for 22 total. You can search the lower part but not the top part due to solid packaging on the top and clear on the bottom. Not that I searched them.........

I picked up a box at Target today, it had 4 packs in it and a couple silver border bonus stickers. Then I also grabbed 5 or 6 packs out of the gravity feed. I could tell the packs were searched already because they had all been pulled out, sorted and then stuffed back in in such a way that you just knew what had happened. Looks like they had pressed on the bottom of the packs so the cards spread out a bit and you could see the edges of all the cards. i suppose if you know what your looking for that would make a difference but i had no idea and just grabbed a few.

Tried another suburban Target and a smaller city Target today - no signs of the MLB Wackies.

The woodgrain and baseball lace background sketches were made in smaller quantities than the regular sketchcards. I've heard 50 and 100 are the numbers but can't say for sure. The Dodgers woodgrain I did is on ebay now, and I've listed a Taffy Baseball return.

Here's my original rough for Reds Mustache Wax.  In the final art Topps just went with the team logo and I kinda miss the mustachioed ball player.

Wacky MLB Jumbo packs showed up today at our two Walmarts in the Terre Haute, Indiana area. These contain grass parallels and parallels with red laces on similar to the box toppers.

So found this MLB Wacky Packages review on YouTube.  Kinda fun and the reviewer seems to really like the cards:

Finally saw some myself in Nor Cal - no sign of the value boxes though.
Warning - these are very easy to fan!

Alex, found them today in Southern Cal as well.  All bonus packs had been searched but they had a bunch of bonus boxes (about 16 total) so I bought a few.

Find anything good in the bonus boxes? What's the bonus there - any exclusive promos/ cards?

The bonus boxes have 4 packs and two silver parallels each. The best part about them is that they can't be pack searched!

I got a few bonus boxes at Target the other day, and in one of them, in the cello pack, was
one Silver, and one "brown" background, which looked like the grass background, but I'm
referring to it as a "dirt."

I'm trying to post an image of it, but can't figure out how to do it, but has anyone else
got one of these?

Could it be a lumber background?  Here's a search for "mlb wacky lumber" I just did on ebay:

No, not the lumber or woodgrain ones, it's just like the Grass background, but only brown in color.

That's the Leather parallel.
Limited to 3 of each title. Only found in value boxes.
Very rare.

I think there are 3 sketch formats. The "regular", the ones with the laces and ones that have a wood or lumber background.

That's correct Scott. Here's a sample of one of the lumber sketch cards. It's pretty subtle, but you can see the woodgrain around the border:

Thanks Neil, much easier to see in that picture. There seem to be unlimited parallels in this series.   :P

So what are the parallel options:  Black Ludlow, Red Ludlow, Green Ludlow, Grass, Sepia, Lumber, Leather, Silver , Gold, Auto, Baseball stitching.
What I am I missing?

it's (most?) all posted in the Master List thread

collector box options in the first post and the retail parallels in the flyer in the 7th post.
