Hit a Target in PA on the way home. They had an Untouched/ Unmolested 48 Pack @$2.49 for the 10 card pack Gravity Feed and 12 $4.99 Bonus packs with 22 cards. These all came home with me. None opened yet.

I asked earlier, but are these to suppose to be also sold at retail stores (Target, Walmart)? Just curious if there will be any bonus or exclusive cards to get.

[/quotThe 22 card bonus packs have 2 exclusive stickers. The bonus packs list a "Baseball Lace " Sketch card in the odds section. These cards are not listed in the 10 card retail packs I got from the Gravity Feed.

Yeah, I'd usually be all over compiling a Master List for a Wacky run, as I really enjoy digging into the minutiae of bonus packs/box numbers/variations/etc.
... except I'm just not feeling this hybrid set and don't have much interest in the effort here.

Gravity Feed is cracked open. Got one Green Ludlow. No other hard to find cards. Liking the Green Background cards as much as the black background cards we got a few years ago.1 Green card per retail pack. 48 Different from the GF with no dupes.

12 Bonus Packs cracked. Each pack has 1 Green card and 2 Baseball background cards. Got one more Green Ludlow out of those packs. Got five dupes on the
green cards and 24 different baseball background cards. That gives me 55 Green cards towards a set. I have two Collector Boxes coming tomorrow.
I won't comment on the cards yet to preserve the surprise. These packs will provide easy searching so I don't expect to purchase anymore retail packs.
I got around 8 90 card sets out of these packs.

Batter Up! It's opening day for the new MLB Wacky Packages trading card series from Topps, in stores now! I had the privelege of doing 51 sketch card inserts for the set, good luck with your pulls! I'd like to present here the Artist Return cards I was allowed to keep. The Boston Red Sox is done on the "wood grain" parallel stock, and the Cincinnati Reds is done on the "baseball lace". OK, so we're seeing some awesome sketch work on this one and here's a few of mine as well. I hope Joe Kovacs (Hustler08) will notice that so far they have all been FULL COLOR!

I checked last night at the big suburban Target and nothing there also - didn't someone on this forum indicate that the cards get stocked on Tuesday usually? Did see some Garbage Pail Kids bargain boxes, similar to the Wacky ones from a few months back, that contained chrome packs. Picked up 2 of those - A

Topps has them on their web site now with 5x7 sets, 10x14 art work, and a lot of posters. Since I didn't want any of the posters, I just searched for that word, let Chrome highlight them all and then skipped all those listings.

Thanks, Joe! I really appreciate that, I did take some pains to do Neil's layouts justice and add as much of my own sensibilities as I could. Here are the three White Sox sketch cards I did for the regular inserts:

could be regional or whatever your local Excel rep's route is.
For my area it seems the Targets (and Walmarts too) are typically Thursday, which is later than for other folks.

Value box looks to have exclusive bonus cards as well

I think you might still be good, since the box actually says 'exclusive stickers' not 'bonus'

Got my two collector boxes. Pulled One Gold,One Lumber, One Phillies Sketch -Rare Black and almost no color variation

, 1 Phillies Mascot Auto. I work in Philly; so getting Phillies chase cards is cool even though I don't care about baseball. Happy with my pulls. Saw an untouched gravity feed and another 12 value packs at another Target today. Did not buy any more packs.

Got alot of dupes on the Greens. Decided to make a combo set of Greens/ baseball Background and Sepia cards with a couple base cards thrown in to complete the set. I did that with the mutlicolor border flashback two set and was happy.

They most likely won't be 1/1 posters. They did some for gpk's too and they turned out to be 2/2. Careful.

A few surprises this time out. I'm sorry to see no checklist back but it's cool that the puzzles line up nicely on 9 pocket pages. I really like the red lace, grass green and sepia parallels but the gold parallels seem impossible to get. Also I've lost count of how many sketch artists there are. Anyone keeping track?

Actually, I think I'm on the hook, anyway, for the 6 promo cards (MLBW-1 thru MLBW-6).

A couple of observations after our 13 CE cases:

- Golds are REALLY hard to get. Only 5 in 13 cases!
- Only hit ONE red 1/1
- No sighting of lace 1/1
- sketches are very good this year...didn't really have a bad sketch.
