Since when is "series 17" a thing? I thought the sixteenth series was the last original series...

only since Topps fabricated its fake existence with the binders a couple years ago.

Since Topps included many Proposed 17th Titles in the Cutting Room Floor segment of WP Chrome.

not sure what you mean. Chrome made no claim of 17th, only the binder did.
Plus, it's doubtful that any of those titles were more than just rejected roughs from earlier series.

I keep a second set of Chrome Cutting Room Floor cards in my 17th Binder because to me those are the lost 17th series.
