Jay, thanks so much for posting!  It's a beautiful piece and nice to see it survived the 60's.  It would be fun to know it's travels and how it finally ended up on Antique's Roadshow.

I'm sure all Wacky fans will notice that Wacky's aren't even mentioned by the appraiser but he does mention the now seemingly more hip and popular GPK.  I guess it's just a sign of the times.

I gave the painting to a friend of mine in 1966 or so.  He gave it to his girlfriend in the 1970s...and that's the last I heard of it until some guy called me and told me he found it in a dumpster in the 2,000s.   Probably whoever owned it died or something and the landlord threw out what was left behind.  That's all I know about it.  The Dumpster was in the same neighborhood in Chicago where me, the friend, and his girlfriend lived in the '60s and '70s.
