This is a reference to full boxes, not sets. However, I'd agree that these numbers seem high to me...though Jeff would know, so I believe him.
I agree as well that these prices are high. They are just what I have observed them going for on average.
I will trade you a full run of full boxes for your 4 drinking glasses.

So... has anyone ever figured out the 30 vs. 33 mystery of Wackys?  Like, were ALL the 1-16 series originally SUPPOSED to have 30 or 33 titles before all the cuts/additions/replacements happened, based on how the sheets are printed.  Or was there never an actual target.  I always felt like the 1-16 series were simlar to the months of the year, 30, 33, 30, 33... and then the 12th series was like February.

I believe we have established the approximate price for a box of each of these series of re-issues. Could All Brain or others tell me what is the going rate for a complete set of each series??

I don't keep real close tabs on this, but I'd say S1,S3,S4 are in the $25-$35 range each, if EX/EX+. S2 maybe $30-$40, same condition range. Just my guess. Again, Jeff knows better than I, but I'd think I'm fairly close.

You are in the range for sure. Of course there are the occasional sales that go for more or less.

I see tons of uncut sheets of the re-issues, especially series One. I get it that they are common. Does anyone have a theory as to why so many uncut sheets got into circulation? Was there a theft? Did they discard a bunch of sheets halfway through production?

I got to speak to the person who made the warehouse find on all the series 1 sheets. Very interesting.
If i could afford it I would buy all that remains and put them in the Reissue Museum :)

That is one wild story. Makes me want to own a sheet. I wouldn’t think the condition would be good after all of that….

Was that a bookstore owner on the South Shore of Long Island by chance?  They had stacks and stacks out.

At the Philly Show I picked up three series 4 reissue sets from Dan McKee that appear to be pristine. Time for some more comparing and upgrading! 👍

Very nice Dave. Grats. Some day I really want to get to one of those shows. Just to experience it. Sounds like so much fun. I just get nervous about going places Im not familiar with. Getting around, finding a place to stay...all that. Ill just have to do it someday. I hope you get some perfect cards out of that batch.

Jeff, the venue is great.  It is fairly remote (Not in a city setting at all).  It is busy, but there is lots of parking.  No gun show this time around!  n the Fall there was a gun show in the main hall and it was crazy busy.  This time it was much calmer.  There are some hotels not far away.  Overall it is an easy experience, and if you fly in, it is onyl about 30 minutes from the Phily airport.
Still looking for Series 17

Is there a mark under the R in frosted, middle one?

I’m not sure if that’s an eyelash or on the card, but even if it is on the card I think I still like it best.

I agree - center one is my favorite. It's the brightest (toning on right one) and best centered - one on left has worse vertical centering IMO, though the middle one is not ideal regarding my personal vertical centering taste, and it seems to lay the flatest as well. It's bright with no diamond cut.

Fortunately or unfortunately, "perfect" is a relative term in most cases with wackys, each choosing their own best tradeoffs.

Pretty much my thinking exactly. It would be ideal if it were centered a bit higher, but fortunately that isn’t my main bugaboo….

Looking at 264 x 3 stickers for the best one would drive me nuts!  I'd be blind in the eye I can't see out of when I was done.

Nice additions to your collection, Dave. The reissues are cool. Especially fun to just open up packs.

Your Ice Krunkles copies are a bit nicer than mine.  ;)

If you think too much about it, you become a duller knife in the cookie jar.

I have a couple PSA 10's and that middle card looks just about the same as those. Middle for sure.
Nice card.

Cookies in the knife drawer is a lot better than getting caught with your hand in the knife jar!   Ouch!!!
