Someone must have an extra they would part with
No, probably not likely on the unopened pack, at least. These were a lot more available 15 years ago. Deep pocketed collectors have been trying to complete the sticker set, and many packs have been opened in the past decade. I was offered $750 for my pack last year. The wrappers you would think would surface if packs are being opened, but I haven't seen any lately.
Thanks for the information. I sold my wrapper a few years ago but cant recall who purchased it. It had a chuck missing in one corner. I think its the one Rusty is using as the example on his site. Pretty sure I sent him the scan.I would buy that one back if I could recall who had it lol.
Isn't there a test wrapper on ebay? I thought I saw one for around $80.
Probably an Irish test wrapper.
Yes, It was an Irish Test wrapper. I got excited for a moment the other day when I initially saw it but the realized what it was.
$80 would be a fantastic price for a 1979 Test Wrapper, wouldn't it?
Going stir crazy with no reissues around lol....
Sorry, no extra 1979 test wrapper.PM me your address and I'll scare up some reissue singles for you. I think you already got the last extra complete set I had, but will look around.
you could go after this auction and then roll around in reissue wrappers like they're a pile of moneyeBay auction: #161946886835
I'm hoping to fill a hole in the Reissue collection. Condition is really not that important. A wrapper would work but failing that an unopened pack is ok also. Someone must have an extra they would part with
Were most of these packs killed to confirm the various theories as to the titles in this set?
