After reading through it, this thread is pretty interesting!  Just for the record and not that it matters much, I've done 3 paintings for the upcoming series, but didn't do any for the last set that was released.  None of my upcoming pieces for 2015 were released yet in the preview.  For shear reference sake, here is a list of all of my released Wacky Package pieces.  In my best Shatner impersonation,  Be....  kind with......  the feedback.....   ;)  Kidding!  One thing that I do try to do is to hand letter all lettering.  Although hand-lettering has imperfections, I feel that it has warmth and artistic quality that is sometimes lacking with computer-generated text.  Some prefer hand lettering and some don't - it's understandable either way.  I know that many of Norm Saunders pieces had dry transfer lettering, and that's fine.  He was the master.....

Chia Pest
Lice-O-Matic
Pull Pops
Marrow Cup
Jack Stinks Bean Jerky
Sprout
Necko
Dribbles and Spits
Spray Poupon
Crotch Bite
Codberry Fish Cocktail (Which was never released as a Wacky, but Topps Vault released the image on ebay when they sold the painting last year or so.)

All of these can be seen in my thread here in the Artists and Illustrators section.

When is the next issue of Previews slated to be released to show May 2015 Pre Orders? If so, will it include the Wacky Packages 2015 series pre-orders im it?

Sam, thanks for the comprehensive list and Congrats on having three paintings in WP 2015!  I certainly missed your work in 2014 and can't wait to see what you've come up with for the upcoming set!

it will not be in the May Previews. Topps missed the boat getting Wackys into the printed magazine.
They did get them listed in the Previews Plus #1171 that I posted a while ago, which is a pre-order supplement.
Those pre-orders were due by March 23rd

"Order anything listed in this week’s PREVIEWS Plus from your favorite comic book shop by MONDAY, MARCH 23"

Topps also missed getting the GPK 30th Ann. cards into Previews as well, as they are in the Plus from 2 weeks ago - with preorders due last week (4/6)

I think I'll wait until this Summer 2015 and hope to see packs of Wacky Packages 2015 at a Target store.

Daryl, do you try and build sets out of retail packs?  I haven't done that since the 70s.

No, but I used to pre-order boxes of packs via the pre-order comic companies.

Jon, can't wait to see your work!  I suspect we will feel the influence of Norm in your Wacky creation.

The world is about a month away to having over a 100 new Wackys which is pretty cool!

I look forward to the hunt at retail. I have two collector boxes coming but seeking out untouched Excel cases at Target is quite fun for me.

Not sure how much I will buy if/when I come upon brand new product.    Tatoos, Silvers and Patterns

are only at retail so that makes them worth buying. I will probably want most of the Tatoos. Do we have a list of Tatoos?

Well we are now exactly a month out.  Hopefully we'll start seeing more soon.  Also I'm hoping we'll see the Wacky Backs and altered art cards this time.  I still can't believe that those didn't show up for WP 2014!

Patrick, I think we will all be pleased.  With 130 new gags there should be something for every Wacky fan.  Also I for one am glad there will be no bonus cards.  There always a pain to track down and a tough set to put together.  Also at 14 (or 2, 4, 5 or 6 as in the past) they never fill up pages.

Got it.  Strange they would stop the bonus cards. I would think they would increase sales. Better for us I guess.  Thanks Topps.

If everything gets released on time and as scheduled, we should be getting the new 2015 set in only a few weeks!

Everything is awesome!

For me it all comes down to sitting alone on the floor  in my home office ; opening new packs of wackies and laughing to myself. Just like I did 45 years ago.

Looking forward to it.

Although I'm not all that fired up about the new set, I am very curious about certain subsets, like the wood cards.  And I'm always very pleased when original series titles are brought back in new ways, like the embroidered patch cards.  I just hope those types of cards I'm most interested in aren't so limited in number that I can't afford them.

Yo Brad,

Where are the Blowout Pre-orders for Collector boxes?  This delay "Blows"

Sorry Andrew, I know it's only been a couple months for me to reply..HaHa. I'm not going to bother with this series than maybe ordering a set of patches off eBay. This series looks like a rehash of all ANS series. You can only do so many jokes with one product before it gets stale.

Brad, as a gag designer parodying new products is key with me.  Out of the 15 gags I have in WP 2015, 12 are new products.

Joe, I mean no disrespect but based on the flyer images they all look like rehash. I guess I'm assuming. I may just buy a set off eBay. Those patch cards look really interesting though but instead of buying multiple cases I will wait to buy the set.

Brad, no problem, I know you're one of Wackys biggest supporters!  Agreed the patch cards look fun and I'm kinda itching to pull a Wacky back.  Also I'm interested in seeing the relic, wood and panoramic sketch cards.  I didn't do sketches this time around so didn't have a sneak peaks to what those will be like.
