Checked two other Targets nearby. One had no wackys, the other had a 2014 gravity feed. So I bought a few packs and took the box. Really surprised it was still there. Made the trip worthwhile.

I am curious about why there are no lost wackies or Bonus Wackies in this release? Maybe they don't have any more lost wackies to use.  I hope it does not signal fewer releases in the future.

With 110 new ideas, I'm certainly not complaining.  There were many concepts included in this set that had been  tucked away in the past for future release, and Topps used this set as a great opportunity (in my opinion).
Usually we get 55 in a set, so I'm feeling like we got a base set of 55 with 55 "bonus" stickers!

And I'm still cracking up at the Two Musketeers concept...genius!

To this point, I had at least 5 concepts that had been accepted for different series (in some cases even painted) but were hanging in limbo. I didn't know if they would ever see the light of day but they were finally released in this set.

Additionally... Greasin' Formula… that's one of mine (painted by Neil, I think) and I thought it was already used in the postcard series.

It makes me wonder about the future of Wackys. Could this have been Topps just blowing out everything they had?

...and Garbage Pail Kids keeps going on strong! I don't understand why GPK are so popular and Wackies are dying. Lots more to spoof with Wackies!

Just snagged a Green Ludlow Hot pack on the bay for $12.99. They have been going quickly on the bay for the last few days. I wanted to have one of these for posterity. The title is random with these packs. How exactly do they determine if a pack has a green Lud in it?

it's probably flipped upside down so that it's easily seen.
I got a sketch in my hobby box, and it was flipped. nice bright red back side easily shows when even slightly fanning the cards.

I can only guess that topps is striving for the attention of pack searchers to raise brand awareness, and then maybe sales somehow.

re

The green Ludlow I pulled was in the usual place and right side up in the gravity pull pak - the paks are fairly tight so I don't see how they can fan the cards? A

The value paks are pretty to fan out though - between that and the barely purple borders I'm avoiding them - A

Thanks for the comments. The seller I got my pack from had 7 for sale. Another person grabbed the other 6 packs. I thought that was a pretty good price ($12.99)
That will be an expensive set for someone to complete.

Are there two different camel patterns for each title?  That would make it CRAZY expensive!!

Ok going to have to eat my words - went to a target today that only had the gravity feed and all the paks were fanned! The fanner must have only been going for golds and sketches - 46 of 48 paks were left. I bought the silvers and tattoos that were showing but didn't fan any myself. Takes the fun out of buying paks for sure but that's really, at this point, Topp's fault...

This release seems to be selling well. No sign of these cards at a number of Targets I hit this week. No Jumbo Packs sighted yet either.  Has anyone checked TRU?

TRU is pitiful for this line of cards. I've only foundthe last few series at target and Five below.

Have you ever found a new release at 5 Below? I thought they only got cards released about a year ago to blow them out.

The pack odds for silver borders say 1 in 3 packs. I didn't get a single silver border in my hobby box. I'm curious if anyone else opened a box with no silvers.

Saw a 16 pack box of 2015 Series at 5 Below. No sketches I could put my finger on.

Noticed no Collector Boxes for sale on Ebay or at OLD's. I guess this sold pretty well......or they did not make as many collector boxes as in the past.

Green ludlows are still crushing it in terms of ebay sales. I am surprised there are no more collector boxes around for this release. Also, still waiting for more of the super rare relic logo cards to show up so we can see what they look like. No Wormy , Milk Foam or Bean Ball 1/5 Super Rares have shown yet. With only 30 total for the 6 titles these will probably end up in Superfractor territory in terms of resale. Meaning those who dropped $300 on them two weeks ago may have gotten a "deal"

I'm a bit surprised more stuff hasn't shown up. I haven't looked but are collector cases still available? It seems quite odd we haven't seen more auctions. It's kind of like the Pupsi patch. I think only 3-4 ever showed up for auction.

The last ANS release was like this also - once the 4 card sketches and the medallions were being pulled and put on ebay, all of the collector boxes just disappeared! I haven't seen a 2014 ANS collector box for sale in ages. Regretted that I only purchased one case, even though I pulled a 'rare' wackyback.
