I know this is from the upcoming Old School Series 2 but since it came with the Series One box I want to say that Sue Mee is visually one of my favorite Wackys of all time, not just Old School.  The jar and lid are gorgeous and the pissed off squaw is funny.

I also just voted. I must say that my favorite has to be Franken Brainey. Love the art and the gag. Seeing it as a 5x7 was a real treat.

Great photoshop! That is a very attractive sticker. I would have put it in my top three list but since it will be voted on in series 2 I assume not count it in series 1. Great painting, composition and gag writing.

OK, I will repost the art scans here and any anecdotes I can share. I will start with Sue Mee which is for the series 2 promo sticker and then put up the rest in alphabetical order.

Sue Mee and Odor Pops were the last two done. I can't remember which was was done first. One of those was going to be the promo and the other would replace Spaghetto's. I let them choose and they picked Odor Pops. Geez. I'm reading this and this story stinks. Not much story stuff to say here on this one!

Dave, I really like the detail you put on the jar and the lid.  Very much in line with the classics.

Since Spaghetto O's was rejected, do you own that, or does Topps?  I'd love to see that one as a card or sticker, and as a custom LTL print!

Looking forward to the rest of the art scans!

It must be an obvious truth then. ;)  Dave very much nailed the container (among other things) on that one.

I own Spaghetto's. I will do something with it eventually in terms of printing it. LTL...hmmm.

BTW, I will email Kendall to let him know there are two forums and he may want to get his company info on here as well.

The Sue Mee is fricken' hot! I can't see it in the tiny sticker for the promo but blown up is amazing. This is now one of my favorite old school!

I love how Sue Mee works even as a tiny size sticker. It might be cool to see a subset of micro-Wackies in a future Topps release. Like 3 or four tiny die-cut titles on one card.

To the thread topic, Brylscream has been my favorite OLDS1 title for a while. That black box is really striking and the character just pops off of it. It's a funny gag to boot.

It's hard to pick ten,i think we all agree on that as stated in the "other" forum.
Most of them are special in one way or another and the stories that go along with them changed they way we look at some them and it just enhances the set, people that don't follow the forums really miss out on that aspect.
The details in alot if them really capture the feel and look of the late 70's and if my OS binder wasn't stuffed full this series may have gone right in behind the 16th puzzle to carry on the tradition!
