COLORED TOMBS SKETCH

HI , I commissioned artist John Zeleznik to do a colored Tombs sketch,hopefully the image showed up.

I like this piece Lance. The figure is very well done, with great detail, and I like the mitered pine box construction. The exposed belly has me chuckling and by his expression, the fellow seems pleased with his life’s accomplishments! The crowbar, screwdriver, whisker stubble, all fine work.

I'm foggy on exactly what “commissioned” work is.
Is this your concept, or you worked with the artist somehow?

I tried to resize it - not sure how it will turn out, but will give it a shot...

It's kinda cool and creepy at the same time. By creepy I mean the joke is missing so you see a cartoon character dead but it is a really cool sketch.

I agree with you, when I see it I get this feeling the guy will open his eyes and jump out at you kind of like that Chucky doll...creepy!  But with that said it goes to show the great piece of artwork that it is.

HEY thanks for your help,I think commissioned is a artists term in other words I hired the artist. I thought John was doing something half this size,so I was a bit surprised when I opened the package and I knew I had 2 get an imaged post. All's its missing is some Thomases orange.

Just so everyone knows I did ban deadpresidentsvisa and spy vs spy. Same guy! I put him on a 7 day ban. If someone wants to be banned I don't want to play any games. He obviously wants to play some type of game.  I don't know what his motives are. This is the first person to be on ban other then spammers. If anyone has any objection to this please PM me and I will try and straighten it out. Thanks everyone. Keep up the good vibe on the forum. This has been a fun ride over the last 3 months and it won't end now!

I know what you mean Brad, the "Obama" thread was getting a little out of hand so I just let it go...so many people have a tough doing that. :^)

Ron, this is an open forum. I understand why people want to display their beliefs. Its a way to express themselves. I just don't know why someone would ask to be banned by threatening to spew a bunch of crap on a forum. I guess they are trying to protect themselves from themselves.
