*The typeface on the Notes of 688 and 728 and the Wacky names of 4142-4151 need to be changed so that they match the others;
*...with the yellow plastic-covered Binder... (the comma after "yellow" shouldn't be there) (988);
*...Philly Non-Sport Card Show promo card series... (1378-1385)
*Aquaman (1837)
*.../made up hair remover product (every other one of these is called "Made Up Product" or something similar, so I think that this one should be too, just for consistency) (2205)
*...than regular cards (3744-3779);
*..., but replaced by Bone Ami (see 336) (3819).

Next, these have either Real Products or Notes that are bleeding from one section into another and should be boxed into one section (again, this is just for consistency):

739, 2185, 2231, 2239, 2245, 2252 and 4260.

Finally, here are the remaining Notes that need to be combined into one, in case you don't have, or have misplaced, the first list:

*696-697, 732-734, 759-761, 823-830, 913-921, 1015-1016, 1032-1033, 1037-1038, 1045-1046, 1051-1054, 1057-1058, 1599-1600, 1724-1726, 1862-1867, 2000-2005, 2110-2119, 2120-2129, 2130-2139, 2140-2149, 2150-2159, 2260-2264, 2266-2269, 2271-2279, 2282-2294, 2296-2299, 2300-2319, 2320-2349, 2822-2825, 3476-3493, 3528-3529, 3597-3602, 3610-3613, 3615-3618, 3801-3807, 3815-3818, 3822-3826, 3829-3830, 3832-3835, 3838-3839, 3866-3868, 3885-3892, 3893-3894, 4029-4030, 4037-4040, 4093-4095, 4098-4102, 4183-4189, 4190-4191, 4193-4197, 4198-4199, 4200-4214, 4220-4227, 4229-4230, 4236-4239, 4249-4251 and 4253-4256.

So far, so good on the other Notes combinations. I mainly noticed that all of the Foil sections in the Spreadsheet have been done except for ANS3's 913-921; that's what caused me to make this new list. Keep up the good work and thanks for all that you do!
all caught up.
for 3819, I don't think the addition about Bone Ami is needed as that info is with the sticker entry.

I know I mentioned that I have no problem with any text bleeding out of a cell if the neighboring cell is empty. But updated anyways.

I don't plan to combine most (if any) of the cells you indicate into single blocks. If it is repeated text across just 2 or 3 cells, I don't see the benefit. For the larger groupings, such as the ANS3 foils, I don't plan to combine them because there would be one or two cells of the total set that would be awkwardly broken out from the rest of the natural grouping.

Brilliant, Patrick, just brilliant! I just found three more that need a quick changing:

*...the yellow plastic cover Binder... (988)
*...included in the 2016... (4129-4136) (again, this is to be consistent with the Note in the 2018 GPK series),
*Froot Loops (4247) (this is one that even I missed!).

Found nine more quick changes:

*Play-Doh Modeling Compound (952, 1210, 1516 & 1637),
*..the yellow plastic cover Binder... (988) (I don't know if you missed this one, or if you even want to do it. I'm including this because only the cover is made of yellow plastic, not the rest of it),
*Cola-Cola (1984) (this is the only one of the Coca-Cola Wackys that needs a hyphen in the real name),
*Wrigley's Big Red (2730) (I just saw that I missed this one when I did the other Wrigley's gums),
*Stride/PayDay (2772),
*Raisinets Movie Pack (2807),
*Pedigree Chum Dog Food (3352),
*...via the Topps Vault. ...  (or is it ...via toppsvault.com. ...? I'm not sure what you were trying to write) (3377),
*Peeps Pumpkins (or is it Peeps Halloween Pumpkins? I'm not sure which. Has anyone seen this in the stores? If so, please tell me which one it is, so that Patrick can put it in) &...Saturday, October 20th. (4246)

I admit that I did get a little bit carried away with the lumping, so I looked through it again, this time with a simple rule: three or more, it should be lumped; less than three, it shouldn't. Here's what I'm suggesting:

*758-760, 823-830, 913-921, 1724-1726, 1862-1867, 2000-2005, 2110-2119, 2120-2129, 2130-2139, 2140-2149, 2150-2159, 2162-2169, 2260-2264, 2266-2269, 2271-2279, 2282-2294, 2295-2299, 2300-2319, 2320-2349, 2822-2825, 3476-3493, 3597-3602, 3610-3613,3615-3618, 3801-3807, 3815-3818, 3322-3326, 3828-3829, 3832-3835, 3838-3839, 3866-3868, 3385-3892, 3893-3894, 4037-4040, 4093-4095, 4098-4102, 4193-4198, 4200-4201, 4203-4207, 4208-4209, 4210-4224, 4230-4237, 4239-4240, 4248-4251, 4261-4263 and 4265-4268.

As you can see, most of this is various series and subsets that were released on or after 2004. I don't think that we need to lump anything before that. All that I'm trying to do here is to avoid unnecessary repetition wherever and whenever possible. Much of this is in the 50th Anniversary, Wacky Packages Go to the Movies, 1970s Posters and Lost Wackys 2nd Series, plus a few others. There are exceptions to my rule, but they're few in number and are only used when it's unavoidable otherwise.

As for breaks, I think that this can be treated like this-lump a section (or more than one sections) both before and/or after the break in the section, while leaving the break intact. For example, in the foil stickers for ANS3, lump the ones before the last one (913-921), but leave the last one (922) the way it is.

Well, that's all that I have to say about the lumping, Patrick. Do with these suggestions as you will. Thanks again for all the excellent work!

Found a few corrections in the Patches section. The 13 Wacky Patches in 3907-3919 shouldn't be labeled "Test". The three test sets are listed in the one Note for them and the ones listed here are the regular patches that were finally released in stores. Also, the Note should say "...neither the backing or the wrapper that were..." because only one was actually a paper backing. A cellophane wrapper is totally different. Finally, 3920 shouldn't be labeled "Test" either, because, according to its Note, no one knows for sure whether it is-or was-part of any of the test sets. Therefore, the Note for 3920 should say "Part of one of the test sets or..." because there were three of them.

Patrick, I noticed that the recent candy Wackys at the end of the Spreadsheet have their brand names, like Hershey's and Nestle, in them. Do you think that I should go through the candy items and put in their brand names (i.e., Hershey, Nestle, Peter Paul, Wonka, etc.) like I did with the cookies and crackers? And if I do that, I think that I should do the breakfast cereals, too (Kellogg's Raisin Bran and Post Raisin Bran, for example, have already been done like this).

Shouldn't 2205 be "The Fate of the Furious/made up hair remover product" like it was originally and like it was supposed to be (I think)?

If you’re so ultra concerned about fact vs. speculation you should be aware that the content you are citing from Lost Wackys is not factual.

It was all that I could find, unfortunately. Greg's website doesn't have an article on the Wacky Patches-yet-and Rusty did back his article up with pictures of all of them. But if you say that it's all not true, where else am I going to get information on them? For that matter, how much is true and how much is false here?

For that matter, what about all of the Lost Wackys information going from the original run all the way up to ANS6 that I got from the site for the Spreadsheet Notes? The artwork, both roughs and finished art, is all right there in black and white and in living color. Does that mean that all of them are suspect? Please, I guess that I need confirmation-and clarification-from someone outside of the site, obviously.

And I want you all to know that I'm not upset about any of this. I'd like some help if I can get it, please.

Unfortunately, the absolute factual truth about a lot of these situations is not known. Lost Wackys has a lot of interesting theories, and he is pretty good about acknowledging it when he is basically just speculating, but I would say Greg’s site is better about only publishing information that is virtually factual.

I’m not saying any of Rusty’s theories is untrue....just not supported by sufficient evidence to call it fact.

Who said you got anything wrong?

You kept mentioning “three sets of test patches” and basing statements upon their existence. I’m simply telling you there is no hard evidence that there were three sets of test patches (or what that would even mean)  to my knowledge.

Hi, Patrick! Happy Thanksgiving!

Any progress on the a's and c's? I'm dying to see how it goes.

By the way, how much of my Notes on the rough art and finished art that I got from lostwackys.com are you going to keep and what are you going to remove, like you said that you would? I haven't seen much of it going out one way or another. Just wondering.

No sweat, I know. Enjoy your much-deserved rest.

Of course, now you'll have to take a vacation in order to recover from your vacation, if you know what I mean.

...

As for breaks, I think that this can be treated like this-lump a section (or more than one sections) both before and/or after the break in the section, while leaving the break intact. For example, in the foil stickers for ANS3, lump the ones before the last one (913-921), but leave the last one (922) the way it is.
all caught up, with clarification/updates on those last two
- for the 'yellow plastic cover", I don't think that there will be confusion with people believing the entire binder and its components are made of yellow plastic
- for your lumping suggestion above, those breaks are precisely the reason I posted earlier as to why I am not going to lump them, as I don't like them. If I do find worthwhile ways to group some things, I will, but I haven't been going out of my way to hunt those down. I'll use your listings of sections for reference, of course.

Time to put in OLDS 7!
OLDS 7 now included

Patch section updated, to indicate little is known for sure, but one theory is yada, yada, yada....

with all those references to roughs, it'll probably be like the 'groupings'. If I find something that I feel need adjusting, I'll do it, but probably won't dedicate half a day to comb through the sheet.
for instance, just now I see those references to Zitz and Muddy Way in the Die Cuts and Ads. Those are now deleted. To me, just because Jay (or someone), submitted a rough, that does not mean there was an intent to 'remake' a title. They were all just part of the tons of gag ideas being submitted.

Good job again, Patrick! Only a few need to be fixed:

*Coppertone Suntan Lotion (346)
*.../Made Up Product (2205) (this is to make this match the other ones)
*Stride/PayDay (2802)
*Pedigree Chum Dog Food (3382) (I saw this name mentioned in the Wikipedia article for Pedigree)

Now for OLDS 7:

*Ben Cooper Trick or Treat Costume with Mask (2644)
*Joan of Arc Chili Beans (2645)
*Aurora Monster Models - Dracula (glow in the dark version) (2650)
*Old Gold Filters (2659)
*Phillies Corona Cigars (2661)
*Shogun Warriors - Gaiking (2662)
*Heath Candy Bar (2669)
*Purina Whisker Lickins (2672).

Keep up the good work!

all the rest of the updates are made. Although I don't know why you want to remove test from the subset section, as it differentiates them from the 12 believed to have been released.

(Image removed from quote.)

The 12 that are listed there already were the ones that were released to stores. The other ones that are mentioned in the Note were the so-called "test patches" that may or may not have even existed, as has been mentioned. I guess that I wasn't too clear again. It seems to be a problem that pops up from time to time.    UPDATE: My mistake: I see that you listed both of the sets: the ones released to stores first, then the test patches. How did I not even see that? I must be getting old. Normally, I'd have seen that a mile away. Oh well, this one can be left alone, then.

You missed one: Stride/PayDay (2802). The other two PayDay parodies-433 and 1945-have their real names written like this. However, if you think that all three of them should be Payday with a small "d", then by all means fix them, please.

And I missed one: 4127-4133's Note needs to be centered.

Finally, 2650 should be (glow in the dark version), like 2627 is.

Just found eight more:

*Curtiss Butterfinger (160)
*Curtiss Baby Ruth (266)
*either Bambi or Rambo: First Blood Part II (647) (this way, readers will know that they have a choice between the two videos. Also, I think that it should be noted that this Wacky is the only one that's like this, as opposed to all others before and since that have been more straightforward as to the products that they're spoofing.)
*Keebler Club Crackers - Original (1571) (I just saw that I forgot this one when I did the cookie and cracker brands before. It's been added to that list also (see Reply #787 on 7-11-18).)
*Croca-Cola Zero (2701)
*Phillies Blunt Cigars (2722)
*Halloween Postcards Promo (2726 & 2829) (these two are identified on the postcards as Halloween Postcards. The other two-2715 and 2795-are similarly identified as being regular Postcards.)
*Keebler Club Crackers - Original (2795) (the Promo Card section is where this real name should be, not in the Bio Cards section (2794). Also the two Notes for this one should be combined into one in 2795 to say: Same product as ANS10 but different design; given out at the Philly Non-Sports Card Show.)

Also, 418 needs to be reduced from two rows down to one row.

Patrick, did you see my post (Reply #829 on 10-13-18) about the Wacky DVDs card backs that were planned for ANS4? I think that it would make a good Note on the Spreadsheet, as they are a part of Wacky history and, therefore, should be acknowledged as being such. It wouldn't be the first time that an unmade Wacky project was mentioned here (as a relevant example, I give you the Note for 1762).

What do you think?
