Hey Neil, like Mitch said, did you release a Wacky Camera Holiday card for 2015 and 2016? If so, please show me the pictures of them and I'll ask Mitch to put them in the Spreadsheet.

Funny you should ask! I took a break in 2015 and 2016, but here's a snapshot of all the previous Camera holiday cards since 2006.

It's spoofing root beer, I added it to the card name. I still don't have these myself!

Everything else is all set. Thanks for the info, Neil!

Is this what you're referring to? If so, it was part of a small followup MLB set in 2016-17.

Where did you hear they printed only 49 sets? Damn, if I had known it was that few I'd have been all over them as they appeared on eBay.

I should look at my own spreadsheet! I noted that, for the Opening Day 2017 cards, 49 sets were for the 5x7 printing. I don't know how many of the regular size sets were produced - those are the ones without embossed numbers.

Everything else has been updated.

Another one! Several Wackys were considered for this subset, but were dropped. They were: Gormel Scary Kitchen Scorned Beef Hash, Chimp Stick, Swansong Chicken Snot Pie, Clodlike Bar, Mean Cuisine, Gravestones Unchewable Vitamins, Cheapo Man Lice Cakes and Nuttin' Butta. (748).

I'll keep it 'MLB', all the online checklists have it that way.

> Topps 75th Anniversary (3911)

Too long but I'll add "Ann."

> Several Wackys were considered for this subset, but were dropped.

I added this note, but what's your source?

I also added the three 2017 Philly Non-Sports show promos. Unsure about the "Wacky Garbageland" promo by Tom Bunk (look it up on eBay) - it's not really a Wacky.

Everything else has been updated.

In case you're wondering, I got the info off of Fred Wheaton's website hipsteria, specifically the page on ANS1. You can find the same info at lostwackys.com in its ANS1 section, too. They both say that there were going to be 15 clingys in that series instead of 9. Also, one boo-boo: remove (Bobblehead) from 1965 and then add this to 802: Originally was going to be "V-8 Trash". Also, Major League Baseball in 2708 and 2709 are meant to be in the Real Product section for those two Wackys. My mistake is probably that I wasn't too clear about those two-they're just like MLB Draft Root Beer in that their real name is Major League Baseball. As for 1965, I should've said: remove (Bobblehead) and replace it with (vinyl figure). Again, I wasn't too clear about what I wanted to say. Oh well, lesson learned.

they're not real products, so I'm not clear why that would show up under 'real name' for these two, or for the draft root beer? (or really, for any of the other made up products?)

These three products are labeled MLB, so they parody Major League Baseball in general as both an organization and a brand. The same thing goes for all the products that parody the major league teams and the selected minor league teams. Anything that doesn't fall into these three catagories is a made up product. Examples of these would be base cards #61 and #81-90 in the MLB Wacky Packages series. By the way, Mitch, 2708 & 2709 should have the registered trademark symbol after MLB in the Wacky name, just like 2779 does.

that's a very loose definition for 'product', but fine. But I would think you'd want these all labeled similar to how the 50th set was done, with each one also stating (made up product) to the right of the team names.
also - both 62 and 65 have mlb logo's on them, meaning they should be listed as real products too, right?

If they have MLB logos on them as you say they do, Patrick, then Mitch, please list 2707 and 2710 as Major League Baseball in the Real Product section for these two also. But, also list MLB with the registered trademark symbol in the Wacky name section for both of them as well, if you would. Finally, please put (Made Up Product) to the right of the team names (both Major League and minor leagues) and the Major League Baseball product names, too, as Patrick suggested.

One question, Patrick. What about 2706 in the Spreadsheet (i.e., #61 in the MLB series)? Should that be considered a Major League Baseball real name, too?

oddly, that one has no logo on it, whereas the four right after it all have MLB logos on them.

and for nit-pickers, 2707 (62) is actually the MLB 2016 All Star Logo, as opposed to just the plain MLB logo, but I don't think that matters.

Thanks, Patrick. Mitch, that means that 2707 should be Major League Baseball 2016 All Stars in the Real Product section, 2708-2710 should all be Major League Baseball in the Real Product section and they should all have MLB (registered trademark symbol) listed as part of their Wacky names, too.

Here's two more! Pulled at some point from all re-releases of the 1st series (mostly the 1970s wall posters of that series) and never replaced (123) and A 5th Rerun series, with the Wackys in it numbered 265-319,... (3043).

Got two more! Pulled at some point; replacement unknown (333) and ...and "16 Bloody Ounces" was changed to "16 Scary Ounces") (700). This is the source for the first one: www.articles.chicagotribune.com/2006-04-06/features/0604060149_1_packages-garbage-pail-kids-topps. Also, you can Google wacky packages and look for this article: Those tacky Wacky Packages from '70s making comeback (Chicago Tribune (April 06,2006)).

many titles were pulled due to C&D and never replaced. KFF is just one of 8 titles in the 8th series alone.

your link is broken, here's a fix  http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2006-04-06/features/0604060149_1_packages-garbage-pail-kids-topps

the White Castle title was published in its original form in the promo strip listed in 762. Maybe make a reference to that one?

First, on Greg's site in the basic information section, there was an article on long and short prints of Wackys from the OS run. Does short print usually mean pulled? I say this because there were eight short prints from the 8th series and one of them was KFF. I presume that's what you meant in your first answer. Please verify. Second, the link is fixed; thanks a lot. Third, if you look in the ANS1 section in the Spreadsheet, the promo strip is mentioned; I just found out about the third of the three changes that were made to Fright Castle (the other two were already mentioned) and thought that it should be added in the Note. Finally, am I right in saying in my post on it on 2-23 that Spaghetto-Os is a promo card?

I list Wacky names based on checklists. When there is no official checklist, I use a consensus of online sources. Unless you've got a convincing argument, I'm sticking with what I've got.

> Gross Card Con promo card #6: Urban-American Spaghetto-Os (Franco-American Spaghetti-Os).
I'm on the fence about this, it's not a Wacky at all but it is from a prominent Wacky artist, and it was intended as a Wacky but never released. It's not really an official promo, either. But then sometimes I include unofficial Wackys so I'll mull it over.

Good question regarding "short prints". I want to say it doesn't necessarily mean it was pulled but... maybe? I'm not sure.

Thanks for providing source info, I think that's a good idea to include from now on.

Everything else is all set.

Short prints is only referring to their occurrence on an uncut sheet. Nothing to do with being pulled due to C&D
