Great job, Patrick! Just a few things that I noticed:

*Hasbro Easy-Bake Oven and Snack Center (Topps 818 and Non-Topps 98),
*...a toenail clipping... (896; it's not a whole toenail, just a clipping),
*,,,rainbow foil versions (except for ANS7, which comes in a classic foil version only; see 1292-1301). ... (913-922; the way it's written now, it looks like they're all like what it says, so this is just to say it isn't. Again, I know that this'll be condensed accordingly),
*.../Bonus Boxes,... (2254-2293; this is so these Notes will match the ones below them (they all have the word Box with a capital B)),
*..., modified to be a '70s style box (2502),
*..., modified to be a '70s style wrapper (2627),
*Nabisco Chips Ahoy! (2758; none of the other Chips Ahoy! Wackys have the word "Cookies" in their real name. Also, I checked Reply #100 in Wacky Packages All New Weekly Series and it turned out this is right),
*...off of the Abrams 2 book,... (4235-4238).

Also, 2929 & 2931 are not called Tricky Treat, only 2962 & 2964, and there's no exclamation points on 2962 & 2964. I checked the Postcards Master List just to make sure and this is right. However, on 2823, both Tricky Treat! and Tricked Out! do have exclamation points, but no quotation marks are needed with these two.

Next, don't forget to mention that the original Wacky name in 2100 was changed to its current name at Topps' request. UPDATE: I see you're working on it; thanks!

Finally, you forgot the Lost 1 Bonus (34-36 & 38-42), Lost 1 Puzzle (37 & 43), Lost 2 Bonus (77-78) and Lost 2 Puzzle (79) in the Non-Topps section. You just have to capitalize the B's and P's so they'll be like everything else in the section.

*194 and 195 should both be Holiday Postcard Bonus, - not sure what you are referring to with those row numbers
*214 should be Series One Checklist Card. - nope, it's 1st Series Checklist

Patrick,

Some of the a's and c's from Reply #939 have been switched over to Reply #1065 so that the former won't be so much of a "monster", as you once called it on Reply #984.

Just thought you should know.

Also, Reply #939 is the earliest one left that hasn't been done yet. I guess that can be taken of later after these latest ones are done. No hurry at all for that one.

Wow, I didn't even know Quaker didn't have its logo on the Cap'n Crunch cereals anymore. I wonder if that includes all its other cereal brands as well. Next time I go to Publix, I'll have to check it out.

I also take it Wonka doesn't have its logo on its candies anymore, as the Wacky for Everlasting Gobstopper doesn't have one, either, while all the rest of them that have been done already (which, of course, had earlier packaging) do.

One question: does Wonka even exist as a brand anymore or has it merged with another brand by now, as per the Everlasting Gobstopper Wacky?

Patrick,

In 3417-3424, you forgot to mention the Beastball promo iron-on for the 1982 Album series that was in an ad for the series in the Sunday comics section of the August 1, 1982 newspapers and that, in this ad, Hookey was announced as being part of the series, but, according to lostwackys.com, was pulled and replaced with Gadzooka. I think Rusty had two theories on this: either Topps didn't want to give kids ideas about actually playing hooky or Topps wasn't doing hockey cards between 1982 and 1985.

Also, now that the Shedd's Wackys are in (in spite of the OP), might I presume that the three series of Wonder Bread Wackys are going to be in, too? Huh, huh, huh, huh, huh, huh? (as that comedian (I can't think of his name for the life of me) says. He was on Hee Haw for a while during its last years and appeared with Goober in several sketches. Can anyone please help out with this guy's name? UPDATE: I just found out it was Jack Burns)

Just found three in the Non-Topps section:

*...for the 13th Doctor (154),
*Charms Assorted Hard Candy (169; this is so it matches the one in the Topps section that was just done (btw, thanks!)).

Also, 180 needs to be condensed and double-rowed.

*Hasbro Easy-Bake Oven and Snack Center (Topps 818 and Non-Topps 98), Non-Topps 98 is the Ultimate version and does not include 'and Snack Center'

*,,,rainbow foil versions (except for ANS7, which comes in a classic foil version only; see 1292-1301). ... (913-922; the way it's written now, it looks like they're all like what it says, so this is just to say it isn't. Again, I know that this'll be condensed accordingly), This is an ANS3 only thing, and was purely a change in the wrapper and box labels. There is no difference for this set or any other.

*Nabisco Chips Ahoy! (2758; none of the other Chips Ahoy! Wackys have the word "Cookies" in their real name.  They *all* have Cookies now

Also, 2929 & 2931 are not called Tricky Treat, only 2962 & 2964. I checked the Postcards Master List just to make sure and this is right. I checked the Postcard Master List just now, and it does show that 2929 and 2931 should be called Tricky Treat as I have them.

Thanks again!

Just two things: could you please change the Chips Ahoy! Wackys from Cookies to Chocolate Chip Cookies? After all, both Rich 'n Chips (602; 1985 series) and Famous Amos (639; 1991 series) are also identified as such, so I think the same should be done for Chips Ahoy! as well.

Plus, don't forget this one:

*Originally released in ANS8 under this name and redone here as a '70s style wrapper (2627; again, I know it'll be condensed accordingly).

And here they are:

Topps:
*Band-Aid Plastic Strips (123; this is based on the picture of the real product at lostwackys.com),
*Based on a rough done in the 1970s by Jay Lynch (774; this Note was removed by mistake. The information can be found in lostwackys.com in the "Lost Wackys" section and it is in the same category as Kaboo! Cereal (2393), Orange Lush (2397), Mister Faulty (2402), ROT (2405), Wedgie! (2408), Stinkin' Legs (2410), Ping Pongs (2413), Palmolotov (2418), Sad Bags (2419), Fool Whip (2421) and Hagnut (2423) in that they were all done by Jay Lynch. The other 11 Notes listed here should also be re-written the same way as this one or added in, mainly because eight of them were included in the concept art cards in OLDS 2 along with the three mentioned here, plus the one mentioned in ANS2 (the one in OLDS 7, however, (2652) stays the way it is (btw, thanks for doing that one)),
*Band-Aid Brand Adhesive Bandages (901; this is the same real name as Band-Ape (2775)),
*... (Care Bear Stare power seen in the media) (1634; the full name of the power should be mentioned here, since it is stated as such on the Billboard),
*..., but was changed at Topps' request (2100; please do not forget to include this. It's part of what Joe G. told me about it. Also, the first part of the sentence, print-wise, doesn't look like everything else on the Spreadsheet),
*...Veri-Thin Pretzel Sticks (2402),
*Gatoraid (4th) (2780; you put the real name in by mistake here).

Non-Topps
*Tootsie Roll Midgees (23 & 209),
*Bonus (174).

There is a Bicycle deck with "Standard" on the bottom of the box.
I look for real product images for these weekly sets for future comparison discussion.

I haven't been able to find a box that exactly matches the Wacky, so I'm leaving it generic.
The closest one I see is actually the Big Box version, but that one has a tab for hanging the box sticking out the top.
if you have a match, please post it.

Patrick,

I think that 2953 should have the real name in it instead of 2952. Please let me explain.

I guess that the bio card may have come first (I'm not sure if it did or not), but if you really think about it, all the postcards are the ones that have their real names listed, not the bio cards. In addition, NS1, NS2 and NS4 also have their real names listed, but not NS3, which this one is. This is the only exception used here in this Spreadsheet, but I don't think it should be done here. If it were me doing this thing, I'd do it the other way for the sake of consistency.

But that's just me. I guess you can do with this situation what you will. But it is something to think about.

I guess that the bio card may have come first (I'm not sure if it did or not), there is no uncertainty here. it definitely did. March vs April
but if you really think about it, I already did back on post 1049
I'd do it the other way for the sake of consistency. you have your consistency, and I have mine. The spreadsheet was set up to have the first entry getting the product, and the parody repeat does not. Simple as that.

Thanks; I didn't know the dates of the two. Still, it's kind of strange that a promo release for a series would be released after the series came out, not before. Has this happened before anywhere else in Wacky history?

Also, what Reply number are you working on for the Spreadsheet right now? I'd like to know so I don't put new entries on where you're currently working. Last I saw, you were on 1055, then you skipped to 1084. Have you already done everything else in between and what's been done after that? I'd just like to be kept in the loop here so I know what to do.

It was released before the series that it's promoting, not after, so I'm not sure what you are talking about.

You mentioned March vs. April. I somehow took that to mean that the Clubbed Crackers artist bio card was released in March (along with the rest of the series it was part of) and the Clubbed Crackers promo postcard was released in April, meaning that the whole series (including the bio card) came first and the promo postcard came out after the series did.

In other words, I have to admit I'm confused in this case. Please, enlighten me. I'm all ears.

Got some c's for the ANWS:

*... - Cookies 'n Cream (2767),
*Lemonhead (2776; this is a more modern box than Humanhead and Demonhead were and it doesn't say Ferrara Pan on it. I've seen this box in a local drugstore in my neighborhood and it doesn't have the company name on it either. Instead, it says The Original Lemonhead. The way I see it, it's the same situation in this series as Hounds - Peter Paul isn't on the modern wrapper anymore in this case, therefore it's rightly not listed as such here),
*...- Frosted Strawberry (2777),
*... - Original (2779).

Also, one for ANS3:
*...Angel Hair Pasta Primavera (884).

The Master List is a permanent document. As such, it is frequently edited, which is entirely appropriate. This is a Discussion Forum. The posts in this thread are not a document intended to be edited. If you made a post with corrections and additions two weeks ago and you think of something else you want to include, why not include it in a new post? That way it is sure to be seen. Perhaps Iím dense, but I donít see the purpose in editing old posts when there is no way for anyone to follow these edits.

Here's some more that might've been add-ins earlier and that haven't been done yet, so I'm making a new post for them:

Topps:

*Band-Aid Plastic Strips (123; this is based on the photo of the real product shown at lostwackys.com),
*...Angel Hair Pasta Primavera (884),
*Band-Aid Brand Adhesive Bandages (901; this is the same real name as Band-Ape (2775)),
*... (Care Bear Stare power as seen in the media) (1634; the full name of the power should be included here, since it's parodied as such on the Billboard),
*..., but was changed at Topps' request (2100; please include this part of the Note, as it is part of what Joe G. told me about it. Also the existing Note, print-wise, doesn't look like everything else on the Spreadsheet (it looks it was started but never finished)),
*... Veri-Thin Pretzel Sticks (2402),
*Originally released in ANS8 under this name and redone here as a 1970s style wrapper (2627; again, I know it'll be condensed accordingly).

Non-Topps:

*Tootsie Roll Midgees (23 & 209),
*... for the 13th Doctor (154),
*Charms Assorted Hard Candy (169; this is so this one matches the one in 247 (Topps)),
*Bonus (174).

Here's some more:

Topps:

*... Chocolate Chip Cookies (686, 1333, 1906, 2518 & 2753; I think most, if not all, of these Wackys have this term on them and since Rich n' Chips (602) and Famous Amos (639) use it, Chips Ahoy! should, also),
*... Frosted Mini-Wheats - Bite Size (1130 & 1652),
*... Frosted Mini-Wheats - Original (1774),
*Sent out by David Gross (2380),
*... - Cookies n' Cream (2767),
* The Original Lemonhead (2776; this is a more modern box that Humanhead (2921 (Topps)) and Demonhead (171 (Non-Topps)) are and it doesn't say Ferrara Pan on it; instead it says this. A local pharmacy in my town has these modern boxes, so I've seen it and this is right),
*... - Frosted Strawberry (2777),
*... - Original (2779).

Non-Topps:

*Note: additional... (79; it's grammatically correct like this and that's all you need to do with it, the rest can stay the way it is),
*... , one of the run of online daily card sets (151; this is so this one'll be like 2710 (Topps). Again, I know it'll be condensed accordingly),
*180 needs to be condensed and double-rowed.
*I think that it should be written Non-Topps on the tab you click on to get there. Again, grammatical correctness.

Finally, please don't forget Replies #939, 1065 and 1092.

Thanks!

*Bicycle Rider Back Playing Cards - Poker Cards (475 (Topps) and 183 (Non-Topps))
*Hazel Bishop No-Smear Lipstick (476),
*Johnson & Johnson Reach Dental Floss (1678; this is so it'll be like Non-Topps (158)),
*... for 1974 Tattoos (see 4091) (2589-2594),
*Croca-Cola Zero (2803),
*Ralston Waffelos - Maple (3426),

Great job, Patrick, thanks!

The only one in the Topps section that needs to be done is Stokely Gatorade (191). The company also made Stokely Gatorgum (2675), which was around at about the same time.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't 154 say "...made as a tribute to the 13th Doctor"? I don't know, but it seems this way makes more sense.

I just looked it up on the Wikipedia article and it's Gator Gum - two words instead. Also, what flavor is it - lemon-lime or orange? That should be put in, too.

And it is Stokley Gatorade, btw. I looked up the Wacky on lostwackys.com and the company name is parodied on the label (as Shakey), so that needs to be put in as well if you could. Gutterade, however, stays the way it is, as mentioned before.

This needs to be done, too:

*... for 1974 Tattoos (see 4178) (2589-2594; I had the wrong number for this one).
