Gary now has them on Ebay for more. I ordered a set from his email. Nice that he cut his repeat customers a break on these. Looking for to filling those binder blank spots.

Hard to say. Fewer and fewer bonus/blaster boxes with the ans sets lately. None for ans10 or ans11.
But then we had chrome.
Seems more likely the pair were just for bonus packs. 2 for Excel, 2 for the other distributor.

They are in bonus packs at Toys r us. Bought two packs and was lucky enough to get one of each. They are $7.49 for the bonus pack (23 cards). The bonus packs are the extra long double ones with UPC 887521015191 & look like the ones sold at Target in the past. The bonus card is in the lower set of cards in the double pack.

Since the cost at retail $7.49 each Gary's price is fine since you get both delivered for less than the cost of two packs with tax. No certainty of getting both bonus cards from retail. I have no need for a bunch of extra base cards so Gary had the correct deal for me.

And now, a clarification: The Bonus stickers B3 and B4 don't come from Walmart, they come from Toys R Us.

I avoid TRU like the plague this time of year, so I can't answer for LI other than to say they have always had whatever TRU was carrying.

Well with all this talk of B3 and B4 I thought I'd give a little background on one of the gags.  When I originally thought of Smash Pack I was going for helping kids smash toys and a Wacky with a Windstun feel.  Topps wanted the focus to be more on broken toys and it evolved into the Wacky you see today (or don't see depending on your local TRU).

I'm not a big fan either. I'm not real crazy about all the variations. I can see keeping the gold borders. It's just designed for collectors to buy more product. I personally don't need 6 different borders for the same sticker.

It just changed the way a lot of people collect.  They go for 1 card (most times it is the same card #) just one gold, one base, one auto. and so forth until they have one of each. It is a good way to collect as long as you have a lot of people that will trade with you.

Joe hit the nail on the head.  There will always be some collectors interested in multiple sets but for many it's a cool way to highlight a favorite Wacky and keep an example of each chase card in their collection.  To be honest this is the way I've collected them since they were first introduced in Flashback 1.
