OK, here' ya go (just listed these):
Thanks! I call it a hand-painted "digital" rendering (sorry for the "corny" pun)!
I guess you could say you nailed them.......
Painting Wackys keeps me on my toes...
Neil, these are great! I saw them last night on eBay and was tempted to post them but I didn't want to step on your toes.
Neil, just following your lead. In fact let me post the Wacky I painted for WP 2014 Series 1. It's card 39 in the base set, for those keeping track.
I did 4 approved concepts for the NEW 2014 Wacky Packages series 1 set that is currently being released, here's one of my concepts "Shave 'N' Bake" I am not sure who painted the final but I think it came out great! If I was to Guess I'd say Fred Wheaton.(Image removed from quote.)
Here is what a medallion looks like. Tough to really see but it's a metal embossed medallion. It looks like the patches from the last series. There is a tiny gape between the top of the card and the actual metal. I just took a picture with my phone to help see it better at an angle. You know which packs have the medallion. The packs are about 2-3 times as thick as a regular pack. No mystery there. Also, here are the two patches I pulled. There is supposed to be one or a couple short prints. I wonder if Band-Ache is one of them. I'm only guessing because Pupsi was and both Pupsi and BA are a couple of most peoples favorites.
Thanks for the pics Brad. The medallions look sharp. The patches are kinda hard to get a feel for from the pictures. What do you think of them? They certainly aren't embroidered pathes. Are they like a vinyl patch?
does anyone know how many bonus cards there are in total and where to get them?
At this point I only know there is a B1, B2, & B6-B12
Could someone please post a checklist. in LA we're still awaiting for these to hit stores.
B6-B12 bonus cards haven't surfaced on e-bay yet.
Here's one of four that I painted for this set...(Image removed from quote.)
Joe, I can tomorrow if no one else does. It will cost you $5 though...Haha sorry, it's a family joke. We have kids here all the time and they will ask me for a snack or something to drink and my response is "OK, but it will cost you 5 dollars". I'm so used to saying it that I was at the grocery store a few weeks ago and I was putting my shopping cart away and this lady said "I'll take your cart" and I told her sure but it will be 5 dollars. You should have seen the look on her face. I just started laughing. Just kidding!
