That is amazing!  Incredible pull.  Certainly one of the very coolest sketch(es) I have ever seen.  Smokin' Joe's sketches are always stellar, but he really outdid himself this time!

Thanks, I was happy with how these puzzles turned out. Noce having a bigger space to work with... and I chose the long shape to see what it might offer in the way of a different design / or if it might allow me to tell a different story. Here is another that is out there somewhere.

Smokin Joe, I think I've run out of adjectives to properly describe how great your work is!

Congratulations on amassing a very nice set.....with that said this 2014 series one has more potty humor then any other Wacky Packages series ever before. I like this series, I like all Wacky Packs, but I believe I am correct re the potty element

Not a fan of potty humor in general; but Allturds really made me laugh. "Curiously strong smelling" is classic!

My sketch pulling career has peaked with scoring your 4 card Demented Desert Scene. I am extremely fortunate to have pulled that masterpiece out of a pack!  Thanks,  Andrew

Also it's very cool that Topps found a way to up the ante on sketches!  I know they were aware of waning collector interest in sketches and came up with a neat variation as a chase item.

I had asked this before the forum upgrade, but now I can't find where the post went.  Anyways, does anyone know who painted "The Loraxed"?  I halfway suspect it might be a lost 90s Wacky.

It's new. It's a concept I submitted and Brent did a great job with the final.

The day the collectors boxes were released - last Tuesday I believe.
A

Just checked the tracking - out for delivery at 5:26 pm from a station that is not even in the same city and across the bay!!! No distribution points on San Francisco??
It won't get to me today as I'm sure my company closes down before 6 pm for deliveries...

So I just purchased a Gold Bordered Muggle Sticker on Ebay for $4.99 Buy it now with free shipping. I was not looking to buy any more golds but it was just listed and that looked like a very good deal. I checked closed auctions and another one went for less than $4.00 with free shipping. I recall paying upwards of $300 for a gold Fool Aid Lost Wacky Flashback One.  My how times have changed  :)

They were a lot tougher with Flashback. I think I got about 15 golds from 3 cases. That's only 6 box cases with only 14 packs per box. With flashback there were 12 boxes per case and you were lucky to get 2 in a case. Within 3 cases you would be lucky to get 3-4 golds.

Also, I think it was ANS7 was the first ANS series that included sketches. Sketches were incredibly hard to pull. I was so frustrated that I couldn't pull a sketch and I think I was up to about $800 on retail packs and a couple cases. I ended up paying $1000 for a cool sketch. I bet I couldnt sell that sketch for $40 today. It's the most expensive sketch I ever bought but I've done well over time to make up for it. Hard lessons.

I do think that most of us here collect because we like Wackys.  I know that I don't collect to get rich off them.  I am watching what is being sold on Ebay and you can't even come close to break even on a case.  So as long as you enjoy what you collect you are enriched.  Now don't get me wrong, I wouldn't trade a patch for a common red, but all of my doubles are available for trade even up.  (I have a lot of doubles).

Very neat display of Dementeds!

Noticed your display of little cars there, particularly the pair of '68 Impala Super Sports. As some here may recall, '60s Impalas are a passion of mine. Here's the real one I have [a '64 model] (I apologize to those who have seen it before and are tired of it, LOL). The red '64 Chevy truck next to it is my brother-in-law's. These pics were taken at a car show last summer.

Very sweet Impala you have there. I have a Toy car with a Wacky Pack on it. I will have to dig it out and post a pic. I also took a Kirscht Sketch and had it professionally imprinted on the roof of a Hot Wheels Passion car.

I bought the Pixar car too, but online, not at a convention.  I remember they were not cheap.  Were there only 50?  I'm not at home this morning, so can't check to see if mine has the same packaging.

I think I have 2 of these fellers at home. If I remember, someone here on the forum had some for sale.

Why not make every sketch a $100 sketch? ;D
