Caps for Caps.
« on: June 11, 2010, 07:40:21 PM »
For those of you like me that like Pepsi-Cola, I'm sure many of you have seen the 20 ounce bottles that have the yellow caps on top and when you twist them off, It reveals 1 of the MLB teams underneath. I have 1 Yankees cap and I'm in need of 2 more because in this latest promo thing with the soda, When you collect 3 caps of the same team, You can send them into the address available and get a hat of that team. For anyone else on here that wants to be a part of this, I have 3 teams so far (And I'm sure I will acquire more). that are extra. LMK if you need any 1 of these following:

A's, Phillies, or Rockies.

I have never heard of these before. I wonder if it's a regional thing?

I hadn't heard of this either.  I still have a large supply of Pepsi Throwback in cans, but I'll check for some bottles at the grocery store this morning.

I'm not sure if it's for national or regional marketing areas, However national teams are included in the caps.

Thanks to a friend of mine who works for Pepsi-Cola, He told me this will be a national marketing campaign.

For those 124 of you that have viewed this (And I'm grateful of course that you did) I no longer need to hunt down 2 more Yankee caps as I was able to give my Yankee cap to a good friend of mine who is a Yankee fan also and my son Troy (Little Shoe to most of you) bought me an early Father's Day gift of the WS Yankee hat.

Something else you might be interested in. Don't know if you have Baskin Robbins near you, but the ones here are doing the "sundae in a mini MLB helmet" promo. I remember them doing that in the 70's, but I think it was Dairy Queen that did it back them.
For some reason they're making you buy an Aquafina with the sundae though...

Not even in with a Dunkin' Donuts?  They are almost always together around here.

You better look into your rear-view-mirror because the Sox are coming!
