Most series 16 titles are "fresh from packs" as it was relatively recently found full boxes that are the source for most of the supply out there.  Prices used to be well over $2000 for a set with puzzle and Scoot no copyright.  They have fallen since where few titles clear $50 each on ebay.  Puzzle still commands around $200, Scoot no copy has fallen under $200.

What is the price you are being quoted.  You might as well find out if someone here can offer you a better price.

It's a tough set for sure to put together...That set & the "Die-Cuts" are my only 2 (Incomplete) sets, there are 3 titles that are fairly common:"Garbage Candy" "Prowl" & "Jerkens" I got all 3 titles in "NM" (cond) about a year ago for $30!!! :o

You mean garbage candy, scoot, & Jungle. Right?
Band-aches is right about pricing. Most titles fall in the $50 range. There are a few that might cost you a bit more and that is cherry bombs, dirtycell, & Tipsy roll. The scoot w/o copyright is around $200 as Band-aches stated. The 3 titles I listed above should be in the $20 range. Good luck! I think the 16th is one of the best sets they ever put out.

I still need the top right puzzle piece, which I will probably never get because I cant afford to spend what it goes for.  Its the only thing keeping me from having a complete 1-16 run.  I guess there are more important things in life than Wacky Packages.....LOL

Mine was on E-Bay yesterday as a "buy it now' and it sold in an hour!
The one you bid up to $25 was that about a week ago?...it went for $46?

Good luck with that auction. I think it's the same guy that bought it for around $6k a few years ago. At the time 16th series sets were selling in the mid $2k range. You might be able to get 3 sets out of it but that may only bring in about $4k if you really did get 3 sets with puzzles.

I think it's amazing that you can still find a full box like that.
Not a good time to sell a full box with the market so low,i almost dout if it will ever come back up to where it was.
It's really the only reason i started collecting them ,the lower prices just force you into it and hell who wouldn't want a 16th set and puzzle to make it all complete...well i still need a few 1st cards but dam it's nice to get the 16th for a fair price!

That seller is nuts.  That's $200 a pack!  Man, that guy is living in the past.  the last full box I bought was over two years ago anf I got it for $5k, and prices have steadily declined since then.  A full box is rare, but I'd be shocked if this sold for anything close to that amount.

These are sweet!  That's a steal for that price.  i know those titles are on the less desireable side, but they are in perfect shape.

That was my thought exactly.  16th's have really been in freefall lately.  It's good for the collectors out there who could not afford them a few years ago.  I know the 16 th series hold no nostalgia for almost all of us, but I really like that series.  the titles are artwork ar top notch.

Unfortunately no, I never knew of the reissues until I started re-collectig Wacky's in 2003.  When you first got the reissues, did you think the 16ths were brand new stickers, or did you somehow find out they were the last of the original run stickers?

I only collected the first 2 series of the reissues so I never saw the 16th series.

I never saw Series 16, 15, 12 or 11. I do have a memory of seeing the reissues but I viewed them as a bastardized version of Wackys with previous series all jumbled up. It just didn't seem right. I had collected them (well, most of them) already and now they wanted me to start over?

I think series 11 was the last I collected but I do have a vague recollection of the series 12 and 13 titles. For some reason series 11 is dear to my heart. I can't figure out why. I also have very fond memories of series 5, 6, 7. Those series were in the hey day of Wacky's. Those are the stickers we stuck everywhere. I don't think I ever saved an original series sticker. They were all put to good use ;)
