I just finished opening and sorting what I bought last night, which was:
3 bonus boxes = 21 packs
8 value packs = 24 packs
12 loose packs (there were 24 in the feed and they looked very orderly, so I bought some.)
Cost me $191, and after 57 packs I'm 12 cards short of a base set
I do have extras for trading, and WTH, I can cherry pick clear packs that have cards I need in front. A serious criticism is that many of the cards have dinged corners, which I find really upsetting, especially in a product this expensive. Overall, the cards look nice, and I like that they sort of made them look die-cut.
I really like the Wacky Ads - I got 16 of those, including 12 different.
I got 7 different of the 10 Lost Wackys, which I thought was great, collation-wise.
Got 8 different of the 20 Cutting Room Floor subset, again great, collation-wise. I like these a lot, and it's cool to see more of the Wackys that were used for the 17th series binder. I'll definitely be wanting to finish this subset.
Pulled 7 Where are they Nows?, but only 3 of the 5 titles, and then 4 dubs. Want to finish this set, hopefully by trading here.
From the value packs, I got 32 different refractors. Don't much care for these, too busy.
From the bonus boxes, I got 12 different x-fractors. These are even worse than the value pack refractors, IMO. This is unfortunate, as that is the cheapest way to get packs at retail.
As for regular refractors, I really like them. I pulled 35 of them, 33 different titles. I might actually want this set, especially if I can trade my other more "special" refractors for them.
I pulled one sketch, a b&w Jail-O. Can't read the signature, but the first initial is "D" and the last name looks like it starts with an "M." I'll try to post a scan later. These sketch cards are really thick! A pack searcher's dream........
