So what's the story with these cereal promos? Are there many sets of them out there?

That, I'm not sure of. I only know that they do exist and that I've got all nine of them, thanks to Greg.

So these were unreleased at the time but were printed and some have gotten out? Boy, there's lots of stuff like this in our hobby.

from what I remember, these went on sale on the topps website maybe a couple years after the ANS11 set was released.
I don't believe that they were up for sale all that long, and simply disappeared when topps revamped their website and gutted nearly all the Wacky items that had been available (e.g. series binders, canvas prints, etc.)

So it's stuff like this that trips me up. Should it be listed in the ANS11 Master List? My instinct is yes.
