But ANS11 doesn't come out until late September 2013 or the first week of October 2013 unless it is due to hit stores this week!

Even so, we're already seeing some of the titles, and this way anyone who doesn't want to see anything ahead of time has a chance of not having something spoiled on them.

I think we'll probably remember her for a long time though we may not recognize her in a few years - Clara Peller has been dead for decades and we still remember her 15 mins of Wendy's game...

As far as the topic of “topical” titles

I tend to not like titles based on TV characters, books, and video games so much

I do usually enjoy titles based on politicians, such as Prez, Castro, and Reaganets

I asked at the Philly Show and he said next week they (ANS11) were coming out, but did not know when the original series 9-12 binders were coming out or what the hold up on them was.

I think the binders come out after the 15th of October sometime based on the schedule I have with my sketch cards (I did series 12)

I saw, at Topps' table, a full ANS11 base set today in 9 card pages. I didn't analyze them in detail, but there are some good ones...especially the restaurant subset (think magazine titles in OS11). They asked for input and I told them I thought the variations and chase sets were out of control. I also mentioned Dave's Wacky Wheels concept and they thought it was a good idea. I suspect these particular Topps folks were disconnected from the OLDS decision makers.

I tried not to look too closely, but noticed at the Simko table there was "Olive Glutton" art work from ANS 11 that looked fantastic.

I like that idea too!

Especially vintage restaurants like Howard Johnsons, Bob’s Big Boy, Shakey’s Pizza, Swensons, Mr. Steak, Sambo’s, etc. Or maybe those are more appropriate for an Old School subset.

I agree with you Rob on t.v. characters and video games, But I did like the 15th series parody of the book Jaws which became Gums.
