Wacky Packages Old School Series 5 prediction

What are the chances Wacky Packages Old School Series 5 will be released before 2013 is over hopefully in time for the Christmas 2013 holiday?

I know this OS5 set would include Mess Toy Truck (seen as a preview promo in OS4) and even an entry based on the late Wacky fan art artist's (I forgot his name, but he passed away last year).

I heard that OLDS5 will be released in late winter or early spring of 2014.

Thanks for the info, I know the late Gary Browning was Head and Boulders on this forum.

My bet for one of Gary Browning's 1970's Wacky drawings to be in OS5 would be either "Stingers" (Dolly Madison Zingers spoof) or "Bogus Detergent" (Bonus Detergent spoof).

I'm sure they have Dave working on art for Garbage Pail Kids, Wacky Packages ANS series, among other projects. He's a busy guy! Dave - did you work on Mars Attacks Invasion?

They are throwbacks stickers based on vintage products which would have existed back in the days of the original stickers.

not at all.
they are new parodies, new paintings, new everything, but for products from the 1970's in their original 1970's packaging.
They are all things that would/could/should have been done during the original run of Wacky's in the 70's, but weren't.

Yes, I finished my GPK work and am working on ANS paintings while doing OLDS5 roughs.

I did not do anything on Mars Attacks. I'm hoping next year I will be able to do lots of work again as all my personal issues of the past two years will finally be resolved. New house, new office, new life, ready to get back to work.

Correct - Old School is an online shop exclusive.  So are the postcards and comics, and the new posters.

I doubt OS5 is never going to be ready in time for the Winter 2013-2014 season (including the 2013 Holiday/Christmas season).

I believe they are trying to space them out a bit. With the holiday expenses I sure hope they don't throw more stuff at us until 2014. I'm holding off on a lot of purchases because of X-Mas. I'm going to spoil the hell out of my family this year! There is awesome art on eBay now but I have to resist. There are still Halloween PCs on Topps site but I have to resist.
