Got my order in, checked out, but instead of getting confirmation it kicked me back to check out three times then after twenty minutes of frustration called and was told said item was sold out...what a crock!!!!
Topps told me no confirmation no order...perhaps somebody would be willing to trade for a series one?
I can't believe these completely sold out that fast. With the first set, after about a week Topps lifted the limit, and even then it took a day or so more to sell out, as I recall.
Never even thought that being home at the right time was a requirement to get these yesterday, like with the limited edition postcards, and others probably figured they at least had until the evening to order. If they are truly sold out there are likely going to be a number of pissed off people who invested in the first set, and are now stuck. Even if you trade for a series 2 set now, you may not be eligible for the series 17 binder......
Hopefully this is a temporary "out of stock" situation, like what happened with the Postcard Series 9 regular set.
