I think it's because they jacked up the price once ANS10 was released because of the demand. The prices may creep up for ANS11 once they hit the streets tomorrow.

They were jacked up initially b/c only some dealers had them...they eventually came down from like 400-500 to 350-400...I think Topps lowered their prices due to demand..so everyone else did accordingly..looking for more volume than profit/per case??

I think I paid $460 a case on release day and then they jumped to around $500. Some as high as $550-$600

The very last ans10 case that sold on ebay went for round $530 at the end of July. I remember a few weeks after release they were up around $550. A few days after release there was one for around $470 and I chewed the guy down to $450. I also remember a few right before release that were around $400 but they sold extremely quickly by buy it now. I completely missed the time period where they were anywhere near $350 (except I know some people with special contacts were getting them just below $350 if they were ordering them many months in advance.

Got my collector's cases

Will probably start opening a case or 2 tonight after I get something to eat.  Once I get things seperated (sets, parallels, etc) I'll start posting some of it in the Sell Wackys section.

Ok, cancel that, they are both in collector's boxes lol.  The Rude Food just looks like a reg sticker, the Distractions has a big yellow logo on the back, it threw me off.  First couple cases last night I only got 2 golds, so not sure if the 3/case is accurate or not.

I love the series!  Getting ready to open some more, after the first 2 cases, wanted to see how many sets I was gonna be able to make.  Only 1 patch and 1 plate out of the first 2 cases.  There are "rare" patches, but not sure what those are yet.  I did pull a Red ludlow lost wacky, which are 1:2270 collector's packs, but the front is a gold version.  Not sure if all the Lost wacky reds are also gold on the front or not.

First 2 cases were "Frosted Fakes" heavy, I'm pretty sure I have the entire rainbow of colors lol

That red lud gold is very rare and will sell for around $700 if ANS10 sales are any indication.

there we no bonus boxes at all for ANS10, just those bonus packs. I'd really like to see the boxes again.

Just the bonus sticker, and sometimes a slightly lower price per pack versus loose packs, but I used to like them at stores because I figured they couldn't be searched.

that's the main incentive - the unique bonus sticker

the bonus boxes used to have a cost incentive as well - one 'free' pack. so it was "11 pack for the price of 10", or "6 packs for the price of 5".

the bonus packs are a wash, if not negative, compared to buying single packs. I believe the bonus card replaces one chase card

There most likely will be. The bonus stickers are numbered 7-14 again, like ANS10. So there will be jumbo packs and bonus boxes to acquire the other 6 bonus stickers.

So you averaged 26 hits per case. Not sure what the over all hit rate was but I averaged 29.5 hits per case with ANS10. You say you were missing a gold but I would say that the red lud gold covered your missing gold.

I was stiffed a red lud and 3 lost Wackys. You are right about the bonus hits. Cloth and gold are not as plentiful as ANS10

Next 2 cases only got 2 golds each as well, instead of 3.  It seems the cases that had a printing plate only had 2 golds in them.  So, short 3 golds (if you don't count the gold red ludlow) but got 3 plates

Just picked up the Toys R Us exclusive Series 11 product.  Definitely something new. 

The product is 6 - 4 sticker sheets (uncut).  There are 18 sheets (numbered) and include some of the Restaurant parodies and "Coming Distractions".  They are about the size of the postcards.

Different, but I like them.
