Wonder who won it? That looks really cool. Did you notice the brown staining on the back of the card? Probably from Jay's fingers as he was a sketching machine doing these. That makes it even more cool.

I have to say I'm pretty happy with my very first sale on eBay! Pretty much paid for the rest of my Wacky Collection! I'm sure the new owner will be very happy with it.

I sold it for $1037 and avoided ebay. Was it re-sold for more? I didn't see it pop up on ebay.

I don't know specifics but I know it's traded through 3 hands now and I believe the price has gone up each time.

Appreciated it was.  It came as a total surprise.  Rebel Jet is one stand-up dude!

   The color sketch cards are on a slightly different card stock than the regular sketch cards.   The color sketch cards are on a more absorbent stock, that  takes marker color well.  So while the color comes out great on these cards,   the marker does absorb to the other side of the card a liitle bit if I don't draw fast enough.  So this is what accounts for the marker seepage through  to the flip side of most of the sketch cards.

That is really generous. People have purchased 100's of boxes and not even pulled an unique Jay sketch, let alone a color. You pull a color out of 2 boxes. That is still amazing. I can see where you feel generous. Some collectors are out $1000's of dollars trying to get a colored sketch. It's like Wonka's golden ticket. I am just surprised more of the sketches haven't shown up. I looked over the poster and I think there are about 30 sketches that haven't surfaced.

That is true. A few collectors have bought anywhere from 40-200 boxes without pulling a color. I don't think they would be generous.
