Mark, I especially like the yellow text against the blue, green, and red backgrounds

Did an artist make the "Got" in Wacky font? That is well done

Thank you Rob, I'm mailing out your magnet tomorrow, No an artist didn't do the got.

Those turned out nice, indeed. Just to show how opinions differ, I really like the red text on yellow background.

I like the yellow on blue the best, then the yellow on green, then the yellow on red.  I didn't realize we could pick special colors.

That's the problem with this. We had no idea of what these would look like prior. Shoe should have got a good mix and them pitch them to the forum. We don't even know the price of each mag or did I miss that?
I've noticed lately when you hit new it can either miss a few posts or preview a few posts before the newest. I don't know what's causing it or how to fix it.

I wonder how tough it would be to make your own custom magnets at home.

You can get blank magnetic business cards that can be used with a regular printer and just add your own images.

Those are just flimsy magnets like wacky mags. I think Mark did them in hard plastic.

They even have 8.5" x 11" magnet sheets. Just print your design(s) with a printer and cut out...

Mark’s magnets are flexible and 2-3 times thicker stock than the magnets we pull from packs

I wonder if Topps has sent him a C&D letter yet       :]

I didn't make them, They were made by a young man who works in his dad's uniform shop downtown.

Nice!

You used some sheets of adhesive magnet material, and then cut out the perimeter with an exacto type knife?

I'm confused - if they are not stickers, how did you remove the images from the chrome backing?             I'm anticipating a DUH moment in my near future

part of the answer must be that blue tape looking stuff?

enquiring minds want to know...

The blue tape is what Topps "Chrome" sticks to the thick paper.

1)  First, carefully peel back layer of paper on top blue tape.....usually with practice, becomes easier - but sometimes from Multiple corners helps.

2)  Now plyable, Peel back a corner of the blue.....and work it a bit to get the whole small edge started....place on clean surface and pull straight back rest of tape.
-- Whole set is not much thicker than a deck of cards LOL

3)  Attach to sticky back Magnet film (30mil works great!)

4)  Trim with cutting board (used Fiskers model) to get perfect corners and straight cuts and detail carefully with xacto knife.

--- Whole process took 3 Robin Williams Movies  :great:

okay, so I still couldn't figure out what you were talking about, so attacked a card to see what's what.

that's really cool that you can peel the Chrome away from the cardboard! Great Find!!

Awesome!...maybe I should have flipped the card over for effect  :]    .....BTW, that is the hardest card to cut in the whole set ......
