Wow this is unbelievable. I am fairly certain that Leslie is the person that wound up with the eye popper sketch for $750. Shouldn't it have thrown up red flags for her when the guy came up with the exact same sketch?

Actually it's Marc Simon that has the sketch.

Ok I didnt know that. So Leslie not knowing that must have assumed that the guy in England was the one that purchased it for $750.

I would assume so but it's clear this guy was out to screw her over.

Well she should have questioned how someone in england got ahold of 2 or 3 rare sketches like that. How much would it cost for Topps to ship boxes to the UK?

Topps has subsidiaries in the UK, Ireland, Argentina, and Italy - maybe they are sold locally? Hard to believe though. I understand how some Topps products like GPK's have been popular world wide, but not so sure about WP's. No matter how cool the stickers were, I'd probably never collect parody stickers of foreign products. Then, again, who would have ever though the Chinese would be grubbing down 7 patty Whoppers?!

You make a very good point! There are some good titles, indeed. Pedigree Chump is incredible. The figure is one of my all time favorites. One wacky dog also.

I just found out where this guy got the pictures:

http://www.lostwackys.com/Wacky-Packages/old-school/sketch-exotic-art-spiegelman.htm

It even has the same file name as the card he sent to Leslie

http://www.lostwackys.com/Wacky-Packages/old-school/sketch-exotic-jay-lynch.htm

Notice the piece missing on the middle left border? It looks like a piece of fuzz from the scanner. Same card.

http://www.lostwackys.com/Wacky-Packages/old-school/sketch-eye-popper.htm

Same file name as the one he sent Leslie

You can right click on the image and click on save image as and it will tell you the image name.

He never even got them off the poster. WOW! This takes balls. I suppose he thinks since he lives in the UK that he is untouchable and can get away with this.

Actually totally lucky because I went to the site to see what cards haven't shown up and my mouse  was right over that card. After looking at it I compared it to the scan she sent me and it had the same file name. The guy even listed this on ebay and didn't even have the card.

I doubt it because she used payola to send money to an individual. I think she doesn't have much of a chance of paypal helping her out. This really stinks because she is now shy to buy outside of ebay and that hurts everyone.
