How do you even know this????

Funny, I knew the art as well, although I couldn't remember the artist's name.  I took a fine arts class as one of my required non-technical electives in college.  My boss has the same Art History book - maybe it's an engineering school thing?

Though not Wacky Package related, the November 23, 2013 Off the Mark strip by Mark Parisi featured a funny hybrid of turkey and yogurt that I wish had a Wacky Package take for a Dannon product:

Here's a recent December 8, 2013 Mark Parisi Off The Mark Sunday that isn't Wacky Packages related but is Christmas related - Characters from the Peanuts comic strip running away from a NUTCRACKER! (Why is that?):

Coincidentally, the very moment I opened this and was looking at the comic, the Planters Peanuts commercial came on where Mr Peanut is being hounded by a deranged nutcracker.

The Decmeber 14, 2013 Mark Parisi Off the Mark strip is not Wacky Pack related but Christmas related tells the difference between a candy cane (THEN) and...a CANDY RASCAL scooter??? (NOW):

Couldn’t help but to notice the Cafepress image at the bottom of Jay’s auction page. Don't think I've ever seen this one...

Thats a great cartoon but, gulp!  $34.50 for a T-shirt?!?!? There is a "flash deal" that pops up currently for a $50 gift voucher for $25, however.

I agree Scot. I would probably order 1 if it were half the price.

I kind of feel the way the wife in the cartoon feels after I looked at my tracking sheet for 2013 wacky purchases. And that is all for NEW Wackys unfortunately. I wonder if I can get 25 cents to the dollar for all that Ive spent!!! It was fun though....

High quality sketches averaged in may get you to this total, otherwise i would say 5 cents on the dollar.

The plates I got in the ANS10 hobby boxes sold for goodly prices so I think I could get 25c after all is said and done. A

Update: Mark told me the reason for this is that he is not planning any more Off The Mark Wacky Packages weeks and may spread Wacky Packages works by him off and on, like he did for the March 22, 2014 Off The Mark strip.

Rumor has it Mark may even use a Wacky Packages work by him in a Sunday Off The Mark strip in the future.

A big surprise for April Fools Day 2014! Remember the April 1, 1997 comic strip switcherooie? For April 1, 2014. Mark Parisi and Dan Thompson switched strips.

Mark Parisi did Dan Thompson's "Rip Haywire":

And Dan Thompson (also works on "Brevity" and "Kidspot" seen on gocomics.com) did Mark's "Off The Mark" doing it "Family Circus" spoof style:

Now if only Dan Thompson could start doing some possible Wacky Packages ANS and OLDS rough drawings and/or actual paintings...
