As you may have guessed, a lot of the gags in this thread are in the new Off the Market series 4.

I'm taking the preorders but I still have a couple cards that need to be reprinted, I need to collate a couple hundred sets, and I need to do the sketches. So... I don't know!

That's all right, Mark, take as long as you need to. I'm sure it'll be great, as usual.

Shouldn't that have been "Marshmallow Beeps"?

No. The Roadrunner says "Meep-Meep!" in all of the cartoons, so Mark has presented an accurate representation.

Oh, I always thought that it was "Beep-beep!"

Maybe it was supposed to be, but it always sounded like "Meep, meep!" The way the chorus to "Rock the Casbah" sounds like something different.

I especially like the tagline that says "Originally made from (you do not want to know)".

It reminds me of the old saying "What are the two things that people should never see being made? Laws and sausages."

This one, btw, goes with a few others:

*"What are the two things in life that are certain? Death and taxes."
*"What are the two things that should never be discussed with people? Religion and politics."
*"What are the two biggest lies in all of human history? "The check is in the mail." and "I'm from the government; I'm here to help you.""
*"What are the three things that always tell the truth? Small children, drunk people and yoga pants."

I've never seen the quote in that form. It's usually something such as:  "Laws are like sausages, it is better not to see them being made"

Thanks, Patrick, for the info. I always thought that it was said the way that I wrote it here. Btw, do you know the name of the person who actually said it?
