Yeah, One motherload was in Colorado but the rest in PA. I suspect ex topps employees who took unused uncut sheets or partial sheets home or batches of undistributed stickers. David Saunders gave me a bunch of early series partial uncut sheets that his dad got a hold of either by picking the garbage or Topps gave them to him.
I remember my cousins used to have a whole folder full of what I thought they said were "salesman samples" of Wackys, but later realized were probably just chopped up uncut sheets. They used to let me peel off the ones I needed & stick 'em on backs. As a kid, I didn't care about 're-stucks'. If I had the sticker, I could check it off my list. I would even peel them off my friend's dresser sometimes (with permission of course). I wish I'd grabbed just one of those sheets my cousins had, though, just so I could see what they were. I remember them being white-back, plain, with no special writing on them. 3rd series was the one I remember most.
