Wacky Pack Videos
« on: April 11, 2010, 05:50:25 PM »
I thought it would be cool to have a thread dedicated to posting video clips of Wackys.  Here is a clip I captured several years ago of me peeling a sticker to make a magnet.  You will see that this was a stubborn one that I had a little trouble getting peeled!

That is kind of ironic because I have a "Choke Wagon" (magnet) but I do'nt have the real thing...Yet! ;)

Speaking of videos, what ever happened to the wonderbread commercial tape that sold on ebay last year?  Someone won it and scurried it away or will there be a grand unveiling of it soon?

Cool vid, Loren!

Now that's the kind of stickers I'm looking for for my collage project!  (Yes, that project still lives...maybe when I'm 64!....)

Anyone who has OS stickers like this that have no appeel (sic) to collectors, especially hard-to-find ones, please drop me a line, and hopefully we can work out a trade/deal!

David

Im sure it was talked about before but here are a few questions:

Is this painting done?
Who owns it?
Have any prints been made or can they be made?

I would love to have a copy framed and on the wall! You could really look at it for hours.

Same here -- this is kind of painful to watch.

There was a lengthy discussion about the finished painting in the other forum but I don't remember seeing the video.  The painting is finished and is owned by Phil Carpenter.  I think that Jay said the only way that prints could be made would be if Phil and Topps agreed to it.

Yes, I was going for "shock value" with this video!   :o

Actually, this was in the era before ANS and I really wanted a Choke Wagon magnet.  That sticker was severely miscut and I think I paid about $10 for it so I decided to do it.  I thought it was worthy of recording since it was a Choke Wagon.  How often do you get to see a Mag 7 sticker peeled?
