Just got my returns back. I'll be putting them up on ebay, starting with the first two colors. First one goes up tonight.  ;D

Are you guys only allowed to do so many colors or could you have done them all in color? The reason I ask is the artists are using the return cards to make some extra income and the colors will sell a lot higher.

Depends on the series. Some no, but for this one, yes two colors for returns.

That stinks! I wonder why the restrictions? I love your color sketches.

Thanks! For me it's not a big deal. I think this set is different because it was a limited release compared to a normal release . There are more color sketches that can be pulled from the packs, so in a way it's better for the collectors. Yes, the b&w ones will bring in less money, but they also take less time than the colors, so in a way it evens out.

Also, wasn't Smokin' Joe the first to do a combo sketch?

I checked my files. Here are some nice 4th series combos.

Truer to PC series 1, 2 & 3 the Wheaton Molton Crisps, Camera Rex & Alfrey Scary Garcias were all very similar sketches (at least the 10 to 20 sketches that were posted to the forum or that hit ebay). Another 4th series groundbreaker (IMO) was Zeleznick with his 7 Pup sketches...

Here are my final series 8 sketches.  I was able to track down sketches from the artists' own art where applicable, but it wasn't easy.  It made it fun though since one per artist would have been very easy.  I love the last one I got (Fred/Twister's)!  It has great detail and I love the shading...........

Pretty nice. Do we know who painted Hormone?

Brent Engstrom did the art for that one, as well as Fig Newts.  He didn't do any sketches though.
