Wackies spotted on PBS
« on: April 13, 2012, 08:46:51 PM »
Hi everyone!

Long time few posts... I was watching "Being Elmo" on PBS, at least I think that what it was and I saw wackies stuck on a wall or a file cabinet in the background of one of the scenes when Kevin Clash was young. It went by too fast so I didn't see which ones, but there was at least a half dozen of them. Did anyone else see that?

It was on in the evening... I've always had a soft spot for muppets! It was interesting that Kevin Clash had his start on Captain Kangaroo and he turned Jim Henson down when he offered him a job on the Dark Crystal.

You guys must be slipping up if it took old lando to make a wacky movie sighting ;)

Too bad Mr. Clash didn't have a "Pull My Finger Smellmo" ANS3 Wacky.

If only PBS' Antiques Roadshow featured something on Wacky Packages.

You must have missed that episode.  Some guy brought in 3 unopened die-cut boxes and the "expert" told him,  "Sorry, they ain't worth nuthin', you might as well "stick em all over the place"!!!
