Now I'm definitely reluctant to buy more boxes at the current price. Imagine paying like $60 shipped and pulling a fishbone guy sketch.  I wish Topps would at least offer free shipping again.  Geez, throw us a bone already!

They seems to run free shipping specials on the site here and there for all the products. There seems to be enough boxes left to wait it out for one of those specials. I'll see if I can get an idea when one may happen again.

Hi Rob,
I'm down to 3: Dr Ono, Paste anyplace & umbrella. What about you? If you come across any extras on these, please give me a heads up.

I will, unless it's a Dr Ono!!  That's the last one I have on my list so I have my radar out as well.  I don't have "Paste Anyplace" on my list though because it's not technically a card title, and I'm not collecting the so-called "exotics".  I have 24 titles on my list.

Thanks Rob. Are you buying any more boxes? I think I'm going to have to see a bottom in the sketch card market before I do. Sales seem to have stopped.

I'm still on the fence about that.  I'm usually not very lucky so I could see myself getting a boatload of Chicken Fats and having it be a waste of money.  On the other hand there is that chance that you could get a tough one or a colored one, so the temptation is definitely there to get some more.

Thanks Dave. They've got my business if they do that again in the near future.  That free shipping is huge.

I can't remember who had this card on the other forum but I turned down a $250 offer - now that was stupid!

It was around the time I sold my one-off for $250 and then this card surfaced. At the time I thought $250 was a nice price for these one-off cards and I actually wanted this for my collection because it was really cool. I offered $100 for it and got a counter of $250. I declined, like a fool. Now the rest is history. Now looking back selling my other one-off for $650 looks trivial compared to this. The prices keep going up!

Well who knows how high these can go, but the eye popper one is arguably cooler than the face and the beanie monster.

Has anybody come across any B&W sketches that were used on the sketch poster?  I checked mine and none of them are the exact ones used.  Do you think if you find the exact matching B&W sketch that is pictured on the poster that it would bring a premium over other similar sketches?

Very good point. I think it would bring a little more for sure. I don't have the poster to check my sketches and 80% of what I had is gone. Obviously I do know that the kissing sketch was on there. Hopefully the poster will come today. It is taking forever!

I would also like to chime in but I don't have my poster either. I have been waiting 2 weeks so far from the date they shipped it.

Might be a fun little contest to see who can come up with the first "common" sketch that is the exact one pictured on the sketch poster.

Thanks for posting a larger picture for the forum. I tried to copy it off ebay but they have it locked down.
How many boxes did it take you to pull this one?

How much is the shipping on a box or two?  I've only ordered these with free shipping.

You are better off ordering more then one box to bring the shipping down. Just go to the site and play around with the shipping and number of boxes. Its a no brainer!

Jay Lynch seriously needs a cool avatar. Someone must make him an animated avatar of one of his sketches.

I wish I had the self portrait sketch to scan in. That would be cool!

Someone should animate the eye popping one for sure. That would be really awesome.

On the same subject, if anyone knows how to animate a "Avitar" I'd appreciate it! I even know how I want it, the couple on the card eating the pasta meet in the middle and then (he) bites (her) head off! I know it's pretty gruesome! LOL. :o

Animated Gif's take awhile to do. I only did mine and it took quite awhile. I no longer have any animated gif software but you might find someone to help you out. Where is Snotdrops?

Jay, you now have an avatar! You can go into your profile and on the far left are some links to help you adjust some stuff such as I just put in "world Record Sketch Artist'. You can change that to anything. Also you can put in a personal message that everyone will see. Let me know if you have troubles. I have already adjusted the setting so you will receive private notices by email. To see your private notices just click on 'my messages' on the top menu bar. Enjoy the new forum!
