1982 Nooseweek with blank back
« on: January 21, 2012, 02:39:45 PM »
Hi,

I've got a 1982 album sticker (#87 on the front) that does not have anything printed on the back.  It doesn't say "Wacky Packages album sicker 87, peel off carefully.....etc.  It is just off white.  Does anyone have any information on a card like this?

Thanks for responding!

I do remember seeing some of those out in the market but I thought they were OPC's.  Does the front have a die-cut?

#87 is the OPC album sticker number for this title ... It's 34 in the US release.

#34 is from the 1986 set.  It is #87 in both the OPC and Topps set in 1982.  I just don't know why the back is blank.

I don't believe there is a way to tell the OPC from the US version from the fronts alone, so I'm thinking that's from one of the OPC sheets that didn't have the back printed on it. I remember discussing it on one of the forums.
