I sent another one yesterday, but it was mostly just cheerful, as opposed to funny. I did stick an Old School 3 sticker inside it though, so hopefully he'll get a kick out of that.

I have no idea. Our boxes shipped today so he should receive those by Thurs.

I believe Dave had mentioned he'd say something to Topps but we never heard anything more than that. It would be nice to know one way or another.

I know what Dave said but the question to you is what is that WAS? Was it boxes, a card, art etc.? Nobody here knows what was sent but it would be interesting to know don't you think?

The Old School 3 boxes should arrive at the Hospital on Wednesday. I've given Gary's daughter a "head's up" so she'll know to look for it.

I personally don't particularly care to know "what" was sent from them, as long as "something" was sent like they stated.

Thanks! I've got another get well card along with the check and names of donations to send tomorrow. I'm sure it will be very moving to know he has a lot of friends on the forum.

Update: 3-2-12

Gary really enjoyed looking at all the cards. His daughter showed all of them to him and read them to him as well. It has really helped to break the monotony and she is very grateful to everyone here who has helped. She will take a photo of the sketches when she can.

I never said to get him a gift. I know some folks have been sending out cards, so its more of awareness that his birthday is coming soon in case they send any other cards.
