Questions about sleeves and toploaders
« on: January 09, 2012, 07:49:33 PM »
I ordered some ANS sets and I want to put them in penny sleeves and top loaders.

Looking on Ebay there are so many different types.

For the top loaders I think I am leaning towards the 3x4  Ultra Pro Platinum Series top loader.

For the sleeves I see 2 5/8 x 3 5/8  made of polypropylene.  Is this the kind to get?  Supposedly it is acid-free.

I don't want to buy the wrong kind and waste my money.

Can any offer any suggestions?  Are the OS the same size as the ANS stickers?

Thanks!

I don't think you have to put ANS In top holders. They are pretty thick compared to the original series.

Yes that's a good point.  But then again I do have OLDS1 and OLDS2 which are thin.

I guess I was more asking are those the right type of supplies to protect Wacky Packages?

I wanted to make sure to get the right size and material.

Those top loaders are nice and they do include the sleeves so it's a good deal.

Overkill. Just throw them haphazardly into a cigar box. Done.  :P

I display my base sets and everything that isn't very rare in 9-pocket binder sleeves, and then the rare ones are in screwdowns.  To me part of the fun of collecting is making them display nice in a binder book, so I wouldn't put them in individual toploaders because they would probably end up in the closet and never come out.
