Wacky Halloween Postcard Sets - Available Now

BAD NEWS: The Halloween postcard sets are officially sold out and Topps does not have any plans for a waiting list this year.

GOOD NEWS: For anyone still looking for a set, I've had a few forum members contact me and offer to help out their fellow collectors. Keep in mind, I can't guarantee any arrangements of these transactions and you will need to negotiate with the seller regarding price, etc. But if interested, send me a PM and I will forward your information as sets become available. Your information will be relayed on a first come, first serve basis until Halloween (Monday, October 31st, 2011).

UPDATE: If anyone has an extra set that they'd like to offer to sell or trade, I have a few people still looking for sets. Remember, these are for forum members, so please don't PM if you're just looking to flip sets.

Why don't forum members make these available directly on the forum if the intent is for these to go to other forum members?  I don't understand the purpose of using up your time as the go between as I am sure you are quite busy.

I have purchased a couple of unopened packs at a bit of a premium price and they are on their way to me.  I plan to kill them purely to see if the sketches are upgrades to ones I have.  When all is said and done, I plan to keep one sketch so I will make two opened packs with all contents including sketch available for $70 shipped each, so far, the sketches in these two packs will likely be a Toothie and Human Head.

I still think it is odd they are not just making them available on the forum here.  It is almost like you are being used as a non money making consigner.  Why do these sellers need a level of being anonomous?

These are mostly friends who have expressed to me that they have an extra set or two, so if it means helping out a few of the regulars that missed out, then I'm happy to play messenger.

How would you come up with that conclusion with just a handful of packs opened? Do you have some scientific formula you are using or are you just making a personal observation? I'd like to see your research criteria before you could actually post a comment like that. We need to know the facts!

I was referring to the sketches that will be made available in the two packs I am offering.  Since I ALREADY HAVE Toothie and Humanhead, I stated those are the two that are likley to be made available.  You are already clearly aware I have a Toothie and Humanhead as on the other thread, you immediately declared them "common" based on your vast research you had done in reviewing the 10 sketches that had come to market already.

Ok, looked like you said you had FORUM members who were making this offer so it struck me as odd that they weren't making them available on the forum.  If these are friends who are NOT on the forum, makes total sense now.

I just figured he was probably getting requests from some people that were clearly not dealers so those would be two people I'd want to get sets to. I didn't post it because frankly I don't know everyone here and wanted to get it to two non-dealers. I bought three sets with the sole purpose of making sure two other forum people who missed out got sets. I checked with Fred first because I had not seen him post that night or the next day but he already got one. I am selling them at cost and postage, same as I paid for them. No profit. And...they are now spoken for.

I had to take off on a biz trip Tuesday. I won't be home until later today. Hopefully the package will be there waiting for me.
