2011 Halloween Postcards Anticipation Thread
« on: August 03, 2011, 02:23:30 PM »
Someone at ShopTopps.com mentioned when I called about ANS8 that the next limited On-Line only WP release would be the Halloween Postcards. I look forward to this release. Do we have a list of who is contributing this time around?  I hope they stick with the limit of three sets per family. That worked pretty well for PC7.

I was very happy to get my PC 7's at retail. I sure hope to get a chance at a few sets of these this fall.

Will we get a heads up on the release date? The Halloween postcards are my favorite and I would love to get them!

On Halloween I dress up as a black cat.

Maybe this will be the series that they begin some sort of a subscription service. I'd certainly be willing to pay a little more to ensure that I get at least one limited edition set.

As a public service, I'll try to post the few days I'll be without internet access since there is a great likelihood this set will go on sale during one of those handful of days. Not that I'm bitter or anything!

I have at least 3 days in mid-October when I will be unable to order during work hours......

Always do, last year i had to break open a second box and they almost all went. I dont dare give away ANS 8's this year though. 7's the odds were so bad i didnt care, but with 8's i'm thinking i just might have a shot at a gold or sketch. So, they will get either 7's again (i still have 4or5 boxes left) or 6's.

If there are flow packs this time, now would be the time for Topps to put them up for sale, as they are perfect for Halloween.  I'd also love to see a shipping discount for large orders......

Forgive me for asking a dumb question, but why do they call them "flow packs"?

I think they are packs with no inserts possibilities.

Edit, just realized I didn't answer your question but leaving this here in case others didn't know what is different about flow packs.

I am saving 17 Wacky Packages ANS8 packs to give to trick or treaters on Halloween (October 31, 2011).

Also: In Wacky Postcards 7 - don't Count Cluckula, Gloo Berry, and Flabben Belly count as Halloween related postcards?

So were flow packs invented to be a $1 item for the various dollar store chains?

Maybe they call them "Flow" packs because they flow right out of the stores at only $1.00 a pack?

Kinda cute - I like a girl who's not afraid to show underarm sweat. Or is that flop sweat? Either way, I think it shows a sort of approachability that would have gotten my attention back in my single days.

Nothing to spoil yet. I think we are all hoping that Neil comes on here soon to spoil us with a fresh batch of Halloween PC's.
