My favorite thing in the whole series.... Cap'n Clunk line "Made from Weaker, Conquered Robots!"

I really like that line too!  The entire gag is good.  But, something seems wrong about the box shape.  And, is it a 'broke' mess on purpose, instead of a 'broken' mess?

I think its intentional.  Word play for "breakfast"  I.e.  complete breakfast, incomplete Broke-Mess!

Bingo!

I was wondering how well that translated.

I think that's my favorite, too. "With Iron" is clever as well. Mark's tag lines are always funny and tie things together neatly and succinctly without going on and on too long not knowing when to stop and allow brevity to be the soul of wit, so to speak. I also really like Flabben Belly: the name and character are Wacky with a capital "W"!

I don't think anyone posted scans of the mini-postcards, so here they are.

I did several sketch cards that came with the series 7 sets that parodied classical works of art using the Old Spike characters.  None of them have turned up yet on this forum.  But for my last black and white return sketch card, I have again parodied another famous painting.    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260814138558

I updated my PS7 Sketch Card pulls above to include expando images since postimage.org pulled them. Sigh.

First time I pulled a COLOR sketch, and the other two are really nice imo. Love the FlabbenBerry outside his castle!  :great:

Here's my rough next to Brent's final. I like what he did with the Cap'n.

Here's my rough next to Brent's final. I like what he did with the Cap'n.

I like the Cap'n as well, but the final box looks a bit odd to me (the perspective narrows a bit too fast mb?). I enjoy being able to see the side and/or top of boxes if possible and love it when there is something on the side that adds to the gag -- it's like a bonus of some kind. My favorite example of this is the vintage 9th series G.I. Toe (one of my favorite Wackys ever). The idea of giant toe with legs taking out a gorilla is so completely off-the-wall!!

I also like the fact that the Cap'n is saluting (a neat touch imo and makes him seem slightly crazy!), and the gears-as-shoulder-insignia is a great detail!

P.S.  I just noticed on the box side in your rough are the words Crush, Kill, and something else (Destroy mb?). That's the kind of extra detail I enjoy! :)
