Ah yes, I have played that game quite a few times. It is decent gameplay. The bonuses are funny when you start to unlock them. You get to visit the grotto, see a striptease and unlock new month's playmates. The game play is very fast and many bumpers shot the ball back at your flippers quickly unless your aim of a specific target was right on. Because of this the ball can drain rather quickly and the game be over fast which discourages many from trying again. Still very compelling. Hmm.

;D  Too funny! LOL. I must be addicted, even though my balls drain fast on occasion, I'll still play again.

It seems to make sense on the surface to show an alien playing an alien themed pinball game. But it wouldn't happen. Would any of us run to the arcade to play a human themed game? Imagine how boring that would be. "Golly! It's just like being a human in a human society!"

Yeah, but it's alien poker !  Your right, it would probably be themed along the same lines of that video game Destroy All Humans!

I think it's David Bowie playing there just prior to Ziggy days.

Hey that pinball wizards was really cool. I'll post some pic.s when I get a chance.

Did any there get to check out those LED replacement bulbs. WOW- I thought they were awesome. My buddy has the same Twilight Zone game that they displayed with the new LED's inserted and man, what a difference. You could see everything on the playboard with crystal clear clarity. (say that 5x's fast!) Plus the benefits were: lower power consumption, clearer playfield (obviously), way less heat generated resulting in longer bumper life and longer bulb life than the standard replacements. I was really impressed with that. They also had some cool blue colors and some purple that looked pretty neat.

I also got to play an old Asteroids game which my buddy and I were king at. We both had the ability (on one quarter) to get a whole bunch of extra ships and play for hours. Of course it took us quite some many quarters to get that good, but it was fun. That arcade style game that they had there played way different than the PS2 version of Asteriods. The PS2 version, after a few levels you get to unlock "Classic Asteriods" which I thought was the same UNTIL I played this Arcade Version at the Wizard show. Then I remembered, the Arcade version was a lot cooler (although the screen was smaller than my flat screen tv) the gameplay was much better. Pretty cool stuff.

My girl and I also got to play a 1939 pinball machine. Which our first reaction was, "where are the flippers?" This was mainly a skill shot game, but the bumpers lit up and the back board also. It was still a pretty cool game considering when it was from.

There were a lot of pinball machines that I remember as a kid when I used to go on the boardwalk arcades and play. Really cool stuff.

If I was a human in an alien society, they may pay me to pose for a human themed game. I'll do it for 4 bars of gold pressed latinum!  :D :P

Like a Wacky Ghoul - I'll keep an eye out for that one. Just went last night with my girl to play pin ball on the Ocean City Boardwalk. I got 3rd place on the high score, was called Grand Champ of the Playboy pinball machine. I lit up all 12 months and went into a 4 ball muliti ball mode. We both popped games and she matched one. We usually play that machine and it is a quick game, but we both were kicking it's ass last night. We were going to play Midevil Madness after that, but we were on the Playboy machine so long we were done. Fun stuff.

I've never played this machine but I have heard many times that it is the one to play. It is the most sought after machines on the market. I would love to try it sometime.
There is a pinball house in a city that is about 40 Min. from me but I haven't ventured out to check it out. It's in Lyons, CO. I heard it's a fantastic place to play pinball

Kiss, Black Knight (not 2000, the one from around 1980, The Addams Family, Haunted House, Taxi, Playboy.  Those are some of the best I've played.

Taxi is still one of my all time favorites. I think I mentioned it in the thread. You can also get the game for your Wii and it's a blast.

I downloaded ZEN Pinball for PS3 + some add-on tables...not as good as REAL pinball machines, but still FUN!! I really like the Mars, Earth Defense, and Telsa tables. I think they have about 9 tables for the game now.

I hope you all had a good time at the Pinball Wizards shows we attended in Allentown. I will cherish the memories of the good times and the people I met there, Wacky and non-Wacky. The 2010 show this past May was the last. The organizers have decided not to continue. It is a lot of work to put on a show of that magnitude and the financial rewards are not that great, if there's any money left over at all. The 2008 show will always hold a special place in my heart, as it was my first pinball show and thanks to Brian Lambert (BRUTE 88), what got me into the hobby. Had my first two pins delivered about 3 weeks later! There has been talk of someone else trying to take it over, but it is too early to know anything definite. Everyone agrees the location and if possible, the dates should stay the same. It was nice having it on the same weekend as the Philly show. The Farmer's Market next door and the flea market are what made this show unique. This was THE place to go to find pins, projects, parts, you name it. One guy this year found a nice Slick Chick after an 18 year search. I'm still looking for one, hope it doesn't take that long! I'll never forget running up the ramp into TNT Amusement's truck and seeing a Heatwave and Jungle, but they were already sold. The owner of the Silverball Museum in Asbury Park bought them, so that was cool. I've been there and played them. Well, I guess this leaves more time for hanging out or going to Dorney Park. I hear a Three Stooges fest happens at the same time, too.
