How to lose $26 in one month

This is really puzzling. This seller sells a 3rd series pack today for $52....

Is it the same pack or did he open it? Look at the red star burst in each auction. There is a difference in the amount of red at the bottom and the star burst tips don't curve around the pack side in the same place on each pack.

Good eye, I guess it may not even be the same pack at all, he could have been selling a previously owned pack after buying the new one. I just assumed it was the same based on how fresh it looks (and how he described it as very fresh), since the one he bought definitely fits that description.

I'm also not sure that the photo in his buy auction is really the pack he got, because thedutymon auctioned many of these 3rd series packs, and while the auctions don't all feature a stock photo, I found at least a couple of the auctions that appear to have the same scan in them.

Isnt darkhorse selling a different pack you said was a clear reseal?  If so, you already answered your own question relating to this pack he flipped here.

Why buy a pack and re-seal it only to sell it for less? It's not like there's anything to search for (no one would be crazy enough to search for a Spic and Span against long odds like that, right?)

1) he bought it, opened it, resealed it
2) he either created or bought resealed packs long ago, knows it, has been told his packs are fake in many cases, buys this recent 3rd pack and flips out his questionable pack.

Does it really matter which scenario about is the answer?  Are there other possibilites that are actually likely on target?
